|Roger Lambert||RE: Alex Pressley|
I have posted several death certificates for members of the Pressley family, including Grant Pressley, just because I thought they might be helpful to researchers. If your grandmother died before 1915, SC has no death certificate for her. If she died in 1915 or later and you give me her name, I will try to find a death certificate.

I am not trying to be rude, but my edit was declined. I knew this man personally. He had a charge account with me and was always reliable. Check his social security death index on Ancestor.com if you still do not believe me. His name was March Duffin.

Yes, as are most of those buried in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, but the Mayson Memorial is part of the Good Hope Baptist Cemetery. We have gone to great effort to move all those previously buried the a non-existent "Good Hope Cemetery" and a separate "Mayson Memorial Cemetery" into the Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The "Memorial" to the Mayson family was erected to thank them for donating land to enlarge the church cemetery. This has been confirmed by the management of the cemetery. If you wish to specify that Pinie is in the Mayson Memorial part, across the street from the church building, then that should be noted in the "Burial Plot" section on Find A Grave by indicating "Mayson Memorial Section".

John Gardner, Beulah Methodist Church...
many thanks for helping me complete this family.
Question please. I have his death date as 1902, but am uncertain what it says on his stone. Is that 1902 or 1903?

For looking for my gr-grandfathers grave. I'm glad you were able to locate his father which gave me a greater peace. My grandfather use to talk about his grandfather often and it was awesome to see his grave from all these miles away. He must have been a great man.
