Ray Harsin
Hollingshead - Breckenridge
Greetings!
I just wanted to let you know I am very grateful for you going out to the Breckenridge cemetery out in the countryside to locate and take the photo of Amy Jeanne Harsin and Merwin Hollingshead's headstone. Also, I am grateful for you placing the photo on the memorial site in Find A Grave..
The family appreciates it as well.
:)

Followed your instruction on gps, but system would not accept it,
Received this error message:
Coordinates are not in the proper format. Please enter the coordinates using the decimal format (ddd.ddddd).

I tried several times. Sorry

RE: GPS coordinates
No problem Jeremiah. I guess the moral is "live and learn." I thought I was too old to learn but then again what do I know. Thanks again.

GPS coordinates
Well Jeremiah I really don't understand any of this but maybe you do. As I said, I'm not the smartest person when it comes to computers and computer programs but I went back & I put the coordinates in exactly as you told me and this time the program took them but when I looked at the memorial they were converted to another number? I tried three times and the same thing kept happening. I don't understand it but the map shows the coordinates that the memorial has are in the right cemetery? Go figure! Thanks for your help.

Grave coordinates
I thank you so much for the coordinates and I have tried to add them to the memorial site for Cydan Long but for some reason I am too dumb to figure out the computer refuses them. It says they aren't in the proper format and they have to be in decimal format--whatever that is? Thank you anyway.

GREENWOOD CEMETERY
HINT: call the cemetery ofc and ask for a map of the cemetery and then have them verify that person is indeed buried there. You should be able to give you a lot number and grave number to locate the individuals.
I also am retired and when I take gravestone photos I take more than what I need. I check in findagrave to see if they have a photo--if not I add it. I also input all my photo's on iowagravestones.org or iagenweb.org. They are listed by counties, then you pick what cemetery you want to add the photos too. That way you can submit your photos to two online websites.

Elizabeth Walters
What a beautiful photo of Elizabeth Walters' grave stone. She very well may be my 3rd great grandmother - she disappeared from Boone Co, IA in the early 1870's and I've been looking for her grave for a long time. If this pans out - I will have knocked down another one of those pesky brick walls! Thank you SO much!
