I noticed on her mother's memorial it says that she is buried next to her son. Perhaps the husband is actually buried in that cemetery. I don't know how easy it would be to check, but if you find out he is buried at that same cemetery, please be sure to have his memorial updated and then let me know.
I enjoy this site very much, but I am surprised at the amount of unknown burials, and they just get left that way. People create the memorials and then do not follow up to actually find the cemetery. This site is "Find A Grave" and it certainly won't help people find a burial location if they are just entered as "unknown". That is no help at all!
Thank you for understanding. I look forward to hearing from you again.

|B.J. Waters||Dorothy Daniels|
You have given me the spelling "Shepherd" for her maiden name, but you are asking me to link to parents named "Shepard". Please clarify.
Also, I do not link to any unknown burials. The administrators of this site support that view. "Burial Unknown" should only be used for recent (30 days or less) burials, and when the location is found, then the memorial changed to reflect which cemetery. When people create memorials with no known cemetery and then do no research to locate the grave, that is not in keeping with the primary purpose of this website.
My response to your request is not intended to frustrate or offend you in any way, and I apologize if it upsets you to any degree.

I did as you suggested and just left a note on Sylvester's memorial about the other memorial. Thanks for your input!

|Lois Harriman||Tesman Edits|
I am about to process the edits you sent for the Tesmans in Prairie River Cemetery. While I was researching some of the other Tesmans, I noticed that Mary's maiden name was either Schrayer or Schroyer. I think Schroyer is correct and have added that to her memorial but if you know otherwise, please let me know and I will change it. I will check further into it later on but am out of time to do it this morning.
Have a great day!

Found her listed in their burial list only. But upon researching the census I am inclined to agree with you that she was from Canada. Have made changes. Thanks for the information.

Thank you for the notice of a duplication for her in Curtis Union Cemetery. All the records for that cemetery came from a list provided by the cemetery. So glad you caught the dupe and notified me. The dupe has been deleted.

One of my husband's Wideman aunts married Wilmot Schell but that's the only relationship connection that I know of. None with the Bakers. A Schell family lives in Stouffville, Ontario -- has for many years.They operate a retail lumber and other supplies
business, with the 3rd generation of the family mainly running it now.

|Yandeau||re Augustus Willey|
Thank you for the information and your lookup for Augustus Willey.
Peter and Mary were originally from Alsace France but depending on the various political changes from being part of Germany and France at different times, not only did the names change but also birthplace.
It was Mary Schneider in Wilmot Ontario where they first came and Willy was the spelling. Once in Michigan it gradually became Wiley, Willey etc.
Different censuses reflect the changes. Drives one crazy and the Willi spelling was uncommon for the most part.
Will make a note in his bio of your findings.
Thank you so much. Do you have an interest in this branch of my family?

You're very welcome. If he is part of your family I am happy to transfer management to you. I think family should manage memorials; he is not related to me - I was just at the cemetery and started taking as many pics as I could to get them uploaded to findagrave. Everyone deserves to have a memorial page and not be forgotten. :-)
