We are getting there!

I still couldn't locate him in family search after your info but did find him on ancestry.
I don't think he is in the Valley as it states removed to Woburn MA 7-7-1902......strange one.
I also noticed that I had his date of death of 1864 which is probably one of the reasons I missed it. DUH!

|Pat Van Den Berghe||RE: lot 254, Kimball|
want me to upload the no stone sign? I don't really care for the "no stone" but atleast it will be addressed and you won't be receiving photo requests.
Let me know what you think.
I have been uploading dates, lot numbers and some histories on the west side starting with the first lot.
Let me know where you are starting on Willow St side and I will get those lot numbers and dates if I can find a death record or something on ancestry.
I hope you agree that we need to try and get the relationships down as that can lead someone to relatives they didn't even know they had.
Let me know what you think about the "no stone" and relationship issues.
It is a great day to be in the valley!

I guess that is what I would do, I can't believe there wasn't some money there, her father did well, her husband owned a tailor shop and they both had a nurse in there last days .... I think you are right just upload the big stone and I will note there is no stone for her, does her sister Maria Smith have a stone?

1123-1 Frank A Crosby
1123-2 Amelia Crosby
1124 no one listed lot is owned by John S. Elliott who I am assuming is John Seaver Elliott, is wife Mary founded Elliot Hospital, he buried in Pine Grove with his first wife. Mary Elliot is near the Harrington and Chapel, buried with her parents
1125-1 Joseph W. Fellows, Esq, had two wives, I am assuming the first one is with him but cannot verify that.
1126-1 David Gillis
1126-2 George Gillis
1126-3 Ca Charles Austin Gillis, married Helen Marie Parker, daughter of John U Parker, Esq, the Tomb near the Smith Tomb in the actual Valley of the Valley Cemetery. I think she is in with them but cannot locate any proof, David was CA's father, Charles his brother.

and believe it or not there is another Mary E. Swasey in lot 1085-9 lot owner Charles Richardson something weird there.
Did you find a Mary "S" Swasey? She is listed in lot 1029-8 burial date 4/2/1911. I will scope her out and let you know what I find.

Thank you again for the photos especially the one of Sylvanus Bunton, I tried to get it last year at this time (which is the only time it is visible) but a rather large snake certainly removed me quickly from the area.
The Stetsons, Charles Richardson Sr. his mother was Nancy Stetson, Mary Stetson 1775-1869 is probably a sister and the other Mary is her daughter 1795-1879 is her daughter.
There are nine people in the lot 1085 per the lot book I have, the last one in is a Mary Swasey date of buriel 3/30/1939, I wonder is she belongs to the Pollard daughter of Mary W and Charles Sr.????
Thank you again for the photos, it gets me going on documenting the histories and getting rid of the duplicates.
I have the lot books by grave number and by individual and I have maps of the cemetery if you are looking for anyone specific.

Thank you for the photos of the Porter family in the Valley Cemetery, I am excited as another civil war soldier located up to 127 now.
I connected his parents to him via family link, I could not find any information on Francis, he went into the civil war 17 aug 1864 was was discharged at camp stoneham, va 29 Aug 1864 I could not find any pension on him. I will go through the pension rolls on line to see if I can locate anything on him.
The only information on Rodney was the 1880 census unemployed and a death certificate for Rodney he was 82 years 10 months and 21 days, died from old age.
Thank you again,

Thank you very much for your photos of the graves of Electra E. Wakefield and Sarah Ann (Conger) Wakefield at Pine Grove Cemetery. They are much appreciated...along with the burial location information and the fact that George and Adella Wakefield do not have gravestone.
The burial location information you sent me (P/23-3341-2), how does that exactly break down meaning-wise? I get that the two on the end would probably signify Grave #2. Is 3341 the lot no.? And, what about P/23? You clarification on the enumeration would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, again, for a fine job...and for going the extra mile!
