RE: Phillip Knupp & Julia Hoffner Knupp
Your very welcome. There are a lot of Knupps. I will name a few, John C., Mollie, Charles H. Cordelia, Noah, & Lulu May. I have a Pulaski Co., IL., cemetery book. Mt Pisgah was transcribed iand revised in Oct. 1988 by Darrell Dexter, and it has the cemetery plots listed in order and usually what is written on them. Darrell does an excellent job. I cannot find Julia or Phillip Knupps stones anywhere. It may be as old as they are they can't be read anymore. I usually try wiping with my hand as not to ruin any, but sometimes they are just worn. My husband and I are planning on going back soon and I will take pics of the other Knupps and Hoffners if you give me some names.

No, my great Uncle Everett Schelebo is not buried in Ivy Lawn..He was my grandpa's half brother. Oh and I understand about Davie's name.. He was named Moses Lee Davie Knupp, but everyone called him Davie.. Thanks for the info about adding my uncle Leslie delbert Knupp. it was unfortunate that he was estranged from my mother, and she did not know he was in Las Vegas until he died. I moved to Las Vegas the day he passed away sadly, and this is how I knew about his death. He was always kind to me, a good uncle. I was able to get his flag as he was a purple heart recipient of the Vietnam war. I wish he could have been at Ivy Lawn with the rest of his family, but it was not meant to be. Thank you for your help today..

Moses Knupp
Hi Walt, Say On the post for your Moses Knupp it's only a 3 year period between 1887 and 1900 not 13 years. That sort of narrows the field a little. Keep searching some one will lead you to the right spot. LRK

You're very welcome. It took a hot minute to figure out what was going on since the original photo request was for Charles Knupp but the name on the stone was Clyde Moran. =]

Thank you for the transfer. I had a hard time finding her because I had never heard her full name she was only known to me as Birdie Knupp Boyd.

Knupps! Go figure!
Rosa Lucinda Knupp is at St. Johns. She is the daughter of Samuel (Moses' brother) and Matilda. I added a better picture to her memorial and transcribed it. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=120211515

There is also a space between Rosa and her parents so there is likely an unmarked grave there as there was an indention in the ground indicative to that.

Concerning the Knupp graves at Cape County Memorial - yes they were all in section 10, which extends from up at the Mausoleum down the hill to join section 7. They are located more toward the bottom of the hill.
Would you like for me to transfer all their memorial pages to you? I would be glad to do that so you can add more information. Ruth

Walter:
You are very welcome for the picture and did you find the other members of the Knupp family that I added to Cape County Memorial? I hope they are not duplicates but I could not find them listed - even tried different spellings. Please let me know if they were already there. I can't tell you how excited we were to find John Clifton's grave - things like that is what keep me going back.
Have a good day. Ruth

John Knupp
At last we found the grave of John Knupp at Cape County memorial park cemetery. It was entirely covered with mud and dirt and we almost overlooked it again. But there was a corner sticking out and what looked like the letter "J". My husband was able to uncover it and we discovered who it was.
How sad that graves get so bad but we rejoice that it has been found. Ruth Smith
