|Wayne Wickson||Memorials for Carol and Julian|
From reading other messages posted to you, I think I now know who you are. I have to say that the memorials for Carol and Julian are the most moving ones I have seen to date. You are to be commended!
It has probably been ten years or so since Carol last wrote to me about genealogy. I believe that I met Carol once briefly when she visited Canada many years ago.
Perhaps we can share notes "down the road" regarding our family connections.

Hi Kim, thank you for your message. To answer your question, no, I don't know if he was a Marine. I searched in Ancestry and found no military records for him, but that is not proof. His obituary didn't mention it either. So, I can't say for certain if he was or not. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I saw that! I will send a photo of what I took. Send me your email address and I will send it to you privately since I can't add any more photos to the page.

Kim, Thank you for taking a photo of Loretta's gravestone. It helps me fill in the gaps in researching my family tree. I appreciate the time and effort you have given this website.

|mmartha||RE: Sarah Evans|
Kim, there was a Ray Evans next to Sarah A. I think he must be her son as the markers match. I have a photo of his marker too if you want it. There wasn't anything where the other Sarah was supposed to be and I could find nothing for Cortes Evans in either place.

Hi, will do. It's very rainy today and tomorrow and then it clears up. So it will be Tuesday before I go. I enjoy doing this. Cemeteries are so peaceful. Martha

I am more than happy to transfer the Francis memorials. If there any other Burr Oak memorials under my management that are in your family, regardless of how distant, just ask.

|suscat||RE: Photo of Mary Bailey's head stone|
You are very welcome. Just to let you know, we also got Roger Bailey (adjacent), and note there is a reverse of each stone (which is kind of unusual).
I post them as they come off the camera, and sometimes a better shot will be obvious later and I replace them, so be sure to check back over the next day in case that happens... (BTW, I also have a pic of Mary's FOOTstone; I can email it to you separately, or I can post it on her memorial page if you prefer; it's just a stone with MAB on it). -Scott (and Susan)
