RE: Josiah & Harriet (Wissler) Hoff family
Links can only be made from child to parents . . . since I see you are new to FindAGrave, you probably aren't aware of that. Also, on each memorial, there is an "Edit" tab on the upper right corner of the memorial. When you click on that there are several options, among them the first, "Suggest a Correction", otherwise known as a "SAC". If you use that method to communicate with memorial managers regarding changes or additions, the message is sent directly to the manager with a link to the memorial in question, making it easier for us to fix quickly. I will send SAC's to the two managers in question requesting links to Josiah & Harriet. Their son, Schuyler, married into my Stone family . . . so I just added as many Hoff's as I could find eventually linking many of them together. Thank you for the information.

Lol! I just reread your message.

I don't think we're related. It's just a coincidence. My dad is Glen Welden, and his mother's family (Phillips/Payton) emigrated from Illinois to Kansas/Oklahoma area.

The Hoffs
It's funny that you ask about the Hoff photos. I acquired a photo album a year ago from someone in Norton, OH who purchased the album at a thrift store there in the late '90's. She contacted me through Ancestry.com as I have several of the family members in my husband's family tree (http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/19751522/family?cfpid=846955237&selnode=1).

In the album were Orson and Asenath Stone, who were the grandparents of Alice Stone who married Schuyler Hoff. Photos of Alice's parents, William and Clara (Knapp) Stone, and other relatives were in the album. I believe the album belonged to the Hoff's, who passed it along to their only surviving daughter, Dorothy Irene, who never married.

Orson and Asenath were my husband's g-g-g-grandparents.

When I received the album, I scanned the photos, and tried to locate memorials for as many of them as I could, which is why the Hoff siblings' photos are attached to their memorials.

I just recently sent the album along to another Stone family descendant, as he has quite a collection, as well as descendants of his own. I thought he would do a better job of safekeeping than I.

BTW, my Dad was the city manager of Coffeyville for several years, and I have many ancestors and relatives who have lived there, and are buried there! Small world!

I'd be happy to send you a disc of the photos of the album if you like.
