Could you delete the 2 photos that you've added to this memorial? They aren't needed. All one needs to do is to click on the picture, and the photo size increases showing everything on the gravestone.

Darby, Sarah
I just sent an edit memo to you for the birthplace of Sarah A. Fox Darby. I inadvertently put Iowa as the state when it should have been Missouri.

My apologies.

RE: Dear memorials
I'm glad I could help. I know there are still a bunch at some of the other cemeteries and I had hoped to get back to Clarion county to work on them but I ran out of summer! Maybe next year.

Good luck on your book. I'm sure it will turn out great.

William Harvey Tullis
Hi Misty,

I just noticed that #121795714 William Harvey Tullis's children are also listed as his siblings on his memorial site. Will you please check and fix the problem?

Thank you,

You are welcome, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I will copy the info from the burial record book and send it to you also (probably at least a week as I am working all day every day next week).

not family, but my mothers maiden name was Wolf and I lived in KS for 20+years. I enjoy linking families up on Find A Grave.

RE: Detar Transfers
Be watching for some of your photo requests to come soon from Dehmer cemetery in Clarion County. I passed it the other day and I'm going to try to get to it within the next few weekends. There are quite a few Detars buried there.

Misty, would you like me to transfer the Detar's I've added to you? Just request and your wish will be granted. I'd rather have them with someone related who can edit and update as additional information is located.

RE: Detar
Just out of curiosity I checked my family file to see if there are any Detars and sure enough they tie in. I figured they would as most people in those small cemeteries are related. They are not in my direct line but have married into the family from various directions. It's interesting that you can find them by keying in the full name and also De Tar when looking for them on Find a Grave.

I can't say for sure if all of them have been added to the Salem cemetery listing. There were quite a few graves there with that name but they had just mowed, it was raining and there were some stones that were covered with wet grass. I didn't have anything with me to clean them off and didn't want to take pictures of the dirty graves. My camera also went dead.

There are quite a few stones there too that are so old and faded you can no longer read them. I'm going back to that area soon and I'll keep my eye open for your family in the future.

RE: Detar
I was glad to do it. It was rainy that day and I only took a few pictures. There were many other Detar's in that cemetery. I hope to get back there again soon to take more pictures. Hopefully there will be more of your family members.

Thank you for the search. Alfred died at birth and therefore may not have had a marker. I appreciate the time and effor in your search. Shirley

RE: Ketchersid, Cruse, Koch
Not related. Was just looking up a family whose daughter married a Ketchersid. That name was familiar from pictures of the Ketchersid Sanitarium so curiosity took me to census records, etc.

Vandergrift Cemetery-Unknown Detar
I haven't had a chance to see if there's a marker for this grave, but I can tell you that this was a boy 1 month old when he passed on 12/12/1903. He was buried 12/14/1903. He died of heart failure.
(all this according to the cemetery record book at the Victorian Vandergrift Museum & Historical Society library)

French Sites
Thanks for beautiful photos on French sites. The "Mother" marker you found goes on the site for Lorena French & the site with small bush on it is where the father is buried. Please add your beautiful photos to these two sites that have photo request. The obits confirm they are here. Pat
