Greenwood Cemetery - Forest County, PA
Greenwood Cemetery sits behind Greenwood (United) Methodist Church on Greenwood Road in or near Marienville. I couldn't find an exact address but the cemetery/church sits near the county lines of Clarion and Forest Counties - just inside Forest County. From mapquest, the best way to get there is if you head north (?) on Rt. 66 from Clarion, you will want to make a right turn (or go south) on PA-1015 - or also called Forest Rd. Greenwood Road will be off on your left after awhile. I can't recall how far you go on Forest Rd before getting to Greenwood. Just stay on Greenwood Road and the church will be on your right. There is a small parking lot by the church. If you are heading north (or east?) on Rt. 66 and you get to Rt. 899, then you have gone too far. The church/cemetery is supposed to be in Barnett Twp. & Barnett overlaps both Clarion and Forest counties, if I'm not mistaken. I hope this helps. On mapquest, it shows the town of Vowinkle where you would turn onto PA-1015/Forest Rd from Rt. 66.

Stay on 28 North out of Mayport, you'll come into a little town called Summerville, across from the brick plant, take a right(old bank at this intersection), follow the road, cross the one lane bridge, follow the main road(it will take a sharp bend-stay with the yellow lines) maybe 1 to 1/2 miles out on left side, you'll see the Vandervort Cemetery sign, drive up into the cemetery. Also photographed all those headstones also. In case you need something.

Hey Charisse,
I had to really think about where that site is located. From the town of Callenburg (west of Sligo about 5 km) in Clarion County head east on Main Street (aka PA 368). The road will merge with PA 58 and you keep heading east. Just a few hundred meters after this merger veer left onto PA 3016 (Canoe Ripple Rd). It turns into Mount Zion Road. Keep going. You'll see the cemetery on your left along the road, the church is across from the cemetery on your right. If you come to Elliot Road (on your left) or the parking area for State Game Lands 330 then you've gone too far. It's only about 3 miles from Callenburg.

Let me know if you find it.
Cheers,
Jason

I don't know if that will help you. Is there somebody in particular you're looking for? I have photographed every headstone and war marker in this cemetery. Sadly, I don't know who the war veterans are. But, if it's somebody I might already have a photo of, I'd be glad to help.
You go 66/28 North to Clarion, you'll come into a little town of Limestown, keep driving till you pass the firehall on the right side, down a steep hill and up, you'll see a gas station on the left side, take the first road to the right after the station. Back that road, you'll see Kahle Rd (I believe it just bears to the left) follow it back a little ways and the cemetery stone will be on the bank. Make a right and you'll see it after cresting the little knoll.

To find Shotts Hagan Cemetery I travel on route 36 from Tionesta south. As you enter the town of Tylersburg, take the first left. If you make the left turn to Leeper you went too far. Go out that road approx. 1.3 miles and you will see a road to the left called Marshall Dr. Take it till you see the first house on the right. The road to the cemetery is up a small hill just before the house. There is a wooden sign that says, Shotts Hagan Cemetery. The cemetery is in the middle of a strip mine area and the coordinates are 41 deg 23 min 23.04 sec N, 79 deg 17 min 46.15 sec W.

Hi Charisse,
I hope I can help you. First, tell me if you live near New Bethlehem or Clarion? I'll give you the directions as best I remember them. Need to know which way you'd be going. North on 66/28 or south on 66/28

The 1920 census confused me with the way the husband's name was recorded and I didn't realise that I had Minnie linked as being married to John F instead of to his brother Atlie. Thanks for bringing this to my attention so that I could correct my error. =)

He has 2 because one is a military marker, and yes he's buried with his wife, at least according to the other stone.
