RE: William and Lucinda Rhoden
Since I sent you the message, a friend who researches Civil War veterans and their grave sites has provided me with the name of the cemetery for William. I'm still not positive about Lucinda's grave, but I suspect they're buried in the same place. I plan to look later in the summer when I am home visiting.

If you would be willing to transfer them that would be great! I've been looking for their places of burial for several years. It's a good feeling to think I'm close to figuring it out.

Thanks!
Andrea

William and Lucinda Rhoden
I noticed you created memorials for William and Lucinda Rhoden. They are my great-great-grandparents. Do you have a family connection? I haven't been able to discover where they are buried yet, there are many cemeteries around my hometown of Casey, Illinois, but I hope to look again later this summer.

If you go to Hillis's and Anne Memorials you will see that they are completed with his parents names place of birth, etc. they were married it is on the Memorial and I have contacted a family member to see if they want Ann's information. His mother was Janet Jenny Taylor.

Take Care
Sharon

Thanks for the info. I know what you mean about names. My grandfather spelled it Cusack and everyone else Cusick. I'm no relation so if you want the transfer, just let me. Debbie

Got your suggested edits; can you give me a source? If you are friend or family, I'd be glad to transfer the memorial to your care. Just let me know. Thanks. Debbie J.

RE: Anna Dando Parmalee
I have put their marriage and what I have on them on her Memorial so if at anytime you find out this is not the same Hillis Parmalee then please let me know and I will change it. If you go to his memorial and connect to hers you will see what I have on both of them...
It happens I can not answer your question unless this was his father it is Hillis C. Parmalee she married the marriage took place in Florida there may be a way for you to check the original marriage certificate...Anna Dando is from my family I have nothing on Hillis except who his second wife was.

thanks

Anna Dando Parmalee
He must have shipped Anna home after she died since they both died in Colorado. I really have no idea how old Hollis was.
they married in 1922 and she died in 1928 so no census for me to check...

Memorial 94122948 - Thanks so much for letting me know where Hillis C. Parmalee was buried I have connected him to Anna, in those years it was nothing for a women to marry an older man. Anna was an extensive traveler. I should have put her info on her Memorial which I usually do it has when her and Hillis were married. Have no idea what happened to him after she died or the property they had.
Hope this helps.

Ronnie & Marjeana
Beaver / Beavers
My family originated in North Carolina before coming to Arkansas. My maternal Grandfather's mother was a Beavers. She married a Beaver, therefore I, Ronnie, have both Beaver & Beavers in my ancestry.

Thanks so much! I've made the update. Do you have any idea where Alva and Dessie Ballinger are buried? I'd love to link the infant with its parents.

RE: Reynold
Thanks for the background information, Mary. Sometimes I have been lucky by searching and reading the obituaries of other family members. I see Albert E. Rosey died 23 Jul 1969 and is buried @ St Mary's Cemetery, Junction City; Henry L Rosey died in 1945 and is buried @ Highland Cemetery; and George A Rosey died 07 Nov 1939 and is also buried at Highland Cemetery. I have utilized the Geary CO. Historical Museum a couple times. Maybe you could search the newspapers for these obituaries. It's just possible that there may be some reference to the death of their step-father, Riney.

Reynold "Riney" Whitehair
He is my 2nd great-grandfather, but I do not have much information. Most of what I have is from census reports: birth about 1831 in Prussia (Germany) and death about 1865, probably on the homestead in Geary County. I remember my Great-Aunt Grace talking about her grandparents. I inherited most of her historical information but I've not found any clues to help me figure out where Riney is buried. Since I don't have a specific date I have not searched the newspapers for an obit.

Are you related?
