I've always been interested in genealogy and have spent many hours researching my own family and the connections of how I'm related to this or that person. I've used Find A Grave for over a decade as a useful resource before I signed up as a photo volunteer. I've always found cemeteries peaceful places, combined with my own frustration on how little I've had to go on with my own families oral history. There's so little I know of many of my ancestors, their graves are my only connection to them I have. Now that my kids are getting older, I can find the time to help others get that connection to their lost loved ones that I always strive to obtain in my own life. If we don't know where we've come from, how will we ever know who we are ourselves.

If there's an error on any memorial I manage or something else to add, just let me know via the "edit tab" and I'll fix it. Please be careful that you only submit correct information, I try very hard to keep everything as accurate as possible, please don't guess. I make an attempt to verify each edit request. Also, I'm happy to transfer to direct descendants, following FAG guidelines, just let me know your connection to them and I'll transfer the next time I log on. Generally within a week. Feel free to use any photo I've taken for your own personal use, photo credit to me is always appreciated. I try to keep a digital copy of each photo I take and I would be happy to e-mail you a copy if needed.
