By the Way, I am in Roane County Tennessee now. Haven't made it to Eblen's cave yet. Got here in November, entirely too cold since then, to do any exploring.

Thanks Patrick. There is definitely one near it based on family records, but it is probably unmarked, as are most that old.

No, I've not been to the Cave. I've looked at it online. There is an excellent article online about some guys that explored it, with good pictures and a map I think. I hope to move to that part of Tennessee when I am no longer needed here in Houston. At that time I hope to take a visit to the cave. I looked for the person who is said to be buried near the cave, but was not successful. I think it was an Arnold, not an Eblen. I'll keep looking.

Hello fifth cousin!! I sure want to walk into Eblen Cave one of these days. Have they taken the warning off of the cave so you can go into it again? Did you by any chance look for graves around the cave?
