Thank you so much for taking this photo for me! I don't get up to Berkshire County that often so I really appreciate the help.

I noticed you have Fountaines in your tree. I have an "uncle" George Fountaine, parents were Adelbert and Margaret (?) SUzor. They were from Hampden County and are buried in St. Michael's in Springfield. Any connection?

Just curious, thanks again. Be well.

Thank you very much, the photos finally solved for certain that both his wives were (eventually) buried in same cemetery with him.

Edits - Pittsfield Cemetery
Thanks for leaving the edits regarding the sections of Pittsfield Cemetery that I neglected to note in the memorials. I wasn't very good at that in the beginning; I am now entering that information as I record new gravesites.

RE: Other McGill's at St. Joseph's Cemetery
There were so many McGills - some buried Saint Patricks Cemetery in Hinsdale. Charles Jr.'s parents are in Hinsdale so he could be there too, I guess.

You say you have more McGill - that's great. Why don't you post them and I will see if they are my relations. If they are I will ask you for transfers. Does that sound like a good idea?

Thank you thank you...

Thanks, I saw the other names when I zoomed in using a different program. That would be great if you add more memorials for his family? Thanks.

Thanks again. I don't know where in this cemetery Aunt Kate and her husband Ray Connolly are buried, but it would be great to know!

RE: McGill/Madden memorials at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield
That's great.
But did you take a photo of the other side of the stone? Or do you mean nothing is engraved on the other side of the large McGill/Madden gravestone?

Can you tell me who those people are that you say are buried with my grandfather?

I see you uploaded a photo for his wife (my grandmother) Ruth and one for his sister Frances Madden and I'm glad to find her husband Coleman Madden. I couldn't find his death date when I created his wife's memorial. Are there any others?

Thanks so much if you know the answers.

The photos you've added to the McGill/Madden memorials are very much appreciated. Thanks!

Have you any photos or notes taken that say what is on the other side of the large McGill/Madden headstone?

RE: Suzanne Foucrault Brission, St. Matthew's, Black Brook
Yes. Suzanne Foucrault Brisson is on the side of the memorial. Her daughter Susan Brisson D'Avignon and husband Charles D'Avignon are on the front of the memorial. Go to Suzanne Foucrault Brisson on FIG and follow the link over to her daughter and son-in-law. Also found three of Susan and Charles D'Avignon children nearby. They are Azelina, Joseph and Rosina. Rosina already had a photo. Took photos of Azelina and Joseph. Joseph's photo came out OK but Azelina's didn't. I'll go back and take Azelina's photo again. I requested the managers of Azelina, Joseph and Rosina to link them over to Susan and Charles. I couldn't find a memorial for Suzanne Foucrault's husband Joseph and he does't show up in the St. Matthew's Cemetery burial records. But that doesn't mean he's not in there. Church records can be spotty. Let me know if you want me to transfer Susan and Charles D'Avignon over to you. They are closer to your bloodline than my wife's.

Thanks for checking. I found out that Delima (Delia) was the last born to John-Baptiste Fontaine and Clothilde Brisson. She went by Delia in the local area.

RE: Fontaine and Brisson
I just noticed on FIG that my wife's first great grandmother goes by the full name of Mary Delima "Delia" LaFountain Nelson. So she may be the "Marie" daughter of Jean Baptiste Fontaine and Clothide Brisson. Does the baptism record for "Marie" show a birth date of March 17, 1849? If not, could you check the baptism record of the other Marie (Marie Philomene)? Thanks.

RE: Fontaine and Brisson
According to a WikiTree I found on the net, Delia (Delima) Fontaine Nelson (my wife's first great grandmother) is the daughter of the Clothide Brisson who is a sister of the Joseph Brisson married to Suzanne Foucrault Brisson). So my wife's second great grandmother (Clothide Brisson) is a sister-in-law to Suzanne Foucrault Brisson).
