|P Black-Avitts||Question on Oak Hill Cemetery|
Can you get me or is there, a web site? I am getting back into my ancestry and Find A Grave. And I see that I have some that I have added... Addition, lot, plot info on some of my entries.
My computer crashed and had a new one built. Lost all my favorite bookmarks.
I would like to verify that some of my family is in same additions... ect
It verifies to me that they are family :)
Do you have a link or something that I could look up and update some of my interments?
Thank you in advance for your time and all that you do to help us.

|Doug Kalahar||RE: Rauch Family|
Hello . . . I do so many of these each day I forget the specifics. Sorry.
Peter H. RAUCH (1901 - 1972) m. Margaret A. SIMON ((1910 - 1984) in September 1931 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Little Falls, Morrison County, Minnesota (my hometown). Both are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery.
I can certainly send you much more detail on the RAUCH family if you wish.
Thanks for the work you do at Oak Hill Cemetery.

|Doug Kalahar||RE: Rausch , Margaret A and Peter|
Hello . . . I do not have the middle names for these folks, sorry. As to a source . . . I have been researching Morrison County, Minnesota families for nearly 50 years (I was born and raised there) and have nearly 125,000 names in my database. I would guess I obtained information on the RAUCHs from their obits. If I come upon any other information, I'll pass it along to you.
If there's anything I can help you with from Morrison County (Little Falls), please feel free to contact me.

|Karen Jones||RE: Frank and Josephine Swanson|
Helen's parents are my maternal great grandparents. Helen's sister, Esther, was my maternal grandmother.
Frank and Josephine Swanson are buried in the Ingersoll Cemetery in Washburn, McLean, North Dakota. Frank's Find A Grave # is 7668015 and Josephine's number is 7668016. I just edited Helen's memorial and added the numbers for her parents. I thought I had done that before, but may have missed it.
Washburn, North Dakota is near where Frank and Josephine lived and raised their 9 children.

|Elaine Moss||Jennie Pratt memorial|
Thank you for the burial ledger information for Jennie Pratt. I put in the section, block, and lot number but am unable to put in the other information you supplied which was purchaser and burial date.
If you would like that in there, please let me know how to do this.
Thank you for your help though!

|Wendy||Matilda Agneta Thompson|
Ms. Thompson is a distant relative. According to her death records her middle name was AGNETA. She was an unmarried school teacher. My grandparents "gave" the plot for her burial. She was a dear friend of my grandmother. My father's cousin age 89 remembers Matilda as Matilda was her school teacher. I also remember her comng to Christmas when I was a small child. My grandparents were Albert & Jennie Arneson (buried at Oakhill) along with my sister, Kristi Birch 1946-1999. When my grandmother was buried her body was put next to Matilda instead of next to her husband by mistake. Her marker was put next to her husband. My sister's marker is along side of Matilda, but her remains are next to my grandfather. The error was made by the gravedigger, but the only person in the family that it bothered is deceased.Thank you for asking about the middle name of Matilda. I suppose no one else cares. Wendy

I would appreciate any other information on Marcella Terry and her father Lewis Emmett Terry.
They are relatives of mind.

|oluf kristensen||soren udbye|
I have a family book(tree) which mentions (amoung others) Soren Udbye who was married to Anna Kristensen Gundersen born Nov. 15th 1890 (from my family). Soren and Anna married in 1914, had 3 children (Carla, Lillian, Gudrun)..and divorced later.
Carla and Lillian were adopted by family and Gudrun "followed" her mother.
Is "your" Soren Udbye (Oak Hill Richfield Mpls) the person mentioned in my family book the very same person ? I am looking forward for your answer.

|J.B.||Mary Ann Wheelock|
Would you please connect Mary Ann Wheelock # 119130594 to her parents. Her father Duncan Dewar # 76134127
mother Ann Dewar 76145600
I have Mary Ann Wheelock on find a grave with no cemetery. I will remove mine. I found yours and looked up her death certificate in Mn and it gives what I consider the wrong birth date.
Could you add a note saying she was more likely born 15 Mar 1852 in Ontario Canada and married Theodore Wheelock in WI. They had two children: Jessie and Gertrude.

Unable to recall where record was obtained. Try calling the City of Anoka as they have the care of Forest Hill Cemetery. Also the Anoka Historical Society might have information.

|Bob Wilkie||Adam Swanston|
I'm mistaken about his year of birth. Should be 1880. The confusion stems from the date given on his World War I Draft Registration Card.

|Bob Wilkie||Adam Swanston|
Adam Swanston was born 8 July 1887 in Lasswade, Midlothian, Scotland, eldest son of George Swanston and Jane Wilkie. He married Anna Marie Streich/Streick (died 1927), daughter of Lorenz Streick and Tillie Kluck of Stillwater, Minnesota.
Any further information would be much appreciated.
