I had made the Elizabeth Fleson leap, his son Elmer E Smay was my paternal grandfather's father, I have a Who's Who in America listing him as such. Thanks for the clarification.

thanks,

Dena,
The next time you are at the cemetery could you please take photos of Kathy Davis # 86909652 & her sister Lana Johnson # 88192514. Also check & see if they have a place where they were purchased from.

I talked with there sister Kim, she said they both have headstones finally after along time with a proper markers. She did not know who purchased them.As I would like to call & find out where they came from.
Thank you for your help in advance.

RE: Fisher Line
My FISHER line starts with George, born at sea. I leave this as a starting point, based on writings I have from 1891, 1894 and 1938,George's father came from the Fatherland, (Germany). Some who are tracing this line go off in all directions, that I cannot agree with. One question I have is, "when was the Liberty Bell rung"? Info passed to me was George was 23 "when the Liberty Bell Rang" There was fighting before the actual ringing July 4, 1776. It's confusing. George had two wife's, 15 children. Of the four sons from wife one, William, George, John and Jacob, I follow John. Three sons eventually ended up in Parke County IN, Jacob moves along the Rising Sun, (Miami River). I have just received my DNA, 43% Great Britain, 34% Italy,Greece, 11% Ireland, 8% Scandinavia, and 4% Iberian Peninsula. I hope more FISHER's do DNA. Hope to hear from you.

Steve
