RE: Loraine Hass-Klingensmith
If you are related and sure of the relationship I will accept I was friends with her daughter Barb when I was in high school when Loraine was married to Mr. Ashcraft, so I wanted to make sure it was not a guess as I could not verify it.

RE: Fromang Picture
I just finished photographing the entire cemetery, 198,000 pictures. I have the pictures at my fingertips, so I can turn them around pretty quick. My only problem is that I don't receive the notification of a photo request, so it is by luck that I find one that hasn't been claimed

Blending info on the Gilmore/Newell tree
Mark B,
Here is a COPY of a message I sent to a direct relative of the Newell family. She found me on Find A Grave and contacted me back in August 2015. Her name is Lynn P. She lives in Washington. I lead her to (at her request) the graves of Florence Gilmore and that of Violet(Gilmore)& Oscar Grant. She took photos and laid flowers on Florence's and Violet's graves. We both were both pleased.

"Hi Lynn,
This is Cathy in Lincoln, Nebraska/USA. We are cousins via Wm. Lafayette & Florence (Newell) Gilmore. I'd love to speak with you again. We last spoke in August. Where did the time go? Seems like the summer/fall just flew by.

I am also in contact with Mark Belcher, from ancestry.com site. He has added additional photos & clips I have sent him to his site. He is retired and lives in Colorado. He is the great grandson of Corral ( Gilmore)Carroll. She was Wm. Lafayette's sister. Mark also has a Find A Grave page. If you go my my Find A Grave site, you will find him under "my friends". That way you can see all his wonderful information on his side of the Gilmore tree.
Wouldn't it be a nice thing if we exchanged information and expanded our family heritage knowledge?
Do you still have my contact information?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mark,
You and I have another "cousin". ( Cathy smiles).
I will notify you if I hear from her.
Another " cousin" contacted me via genealogy sites. Her name is Arlyn. She is a direct
(maternal) relative of Florence, who is her great grandmother & Violet who was her grandmother. Arlyn's mother passed away during childbirth. She was raised by her grandmother Violet, who then moved into the home with Arlyn's father to help raise Arlyn. She has wonderful stories that she grew up hearing from Violet. Arlyn was a very small child when Florence passed away, so she barely remembers Florence.
Arlyn at this time, is considering flying to Lincoln NE early this spring or in the fall of 2016. She wants to meet me and my family. She is anxious to visit Omaha & Plattsmouth that she has heard so much about growing up. She has never been to the midwest before. She lives in Washington. I believe that the name Arlyn might have came about in honor of Violet's only sister Arlene. Arlyn knew Arlene ( and her children) quite well. Violet & Arlene meet up and visited each other as often as they could. Fascinating right? I thought you might enjoy all this.
I just find all this so beautiful. Our ancestors I bet are thrilled & proud of all of us for our research, but also reaching out.
Kreft
My family has ties to the Radom area. My great-aunt (who lived in St Louis) had one daughter and she married a Kreft. The daughter became widowed or divorced from Mr Kreft and they had one son together. His son (or his son, I can't remember now) still resides in St Louis . I contacted him about 2 yrs ago to ask if he had any history on our mutual ancestors. He didn't at the time but our conversation got him curious and he wrote that he was going to begin doing some research into his family history. Possibly he is related to your Krefts in Radom?
RE: Johanna Musial Bak FAG# 76077974
Hello,
Yes, I got my info for Johanna Musial Bonk (or Bak) from the website "GenealogyTrails". Someone apparently got the death and burial info for St Michael's Church in Radom from the FamilySearch website and transcribed it to GenealogyTrails, Illinois, Washington County, Catholic Churches, St Michaels.
Could you tell me where the old section of the cemetery is located? Perhaps I could find my great-grandmother's name on one of the cement pads? I am trying to take a road trip to the area but expenses so far have prohibited me. I still hope to try in the fall but it would likely be over a weekend when no staff would be available to guide me to the old area and the cement pads.
Thank you!
Jen
RE: Michal and Marianne Wypijewski
There is always a burial permit for anyone buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Cook County Illinois. Please verify your memorial by contacting the cemetery. There were three cemeteries in Cook County Illinois that people referred to as the Polish Cemetery between 1895-1920. I have personally been to this cemetery to verify Michal and Marianne Wypijewski's daughter's burial location. This cemetery also told me her parents were not buried in this cemetery.
Appreciate all your help! Thank you
You are welcome and I am glad. I had a feeling when I saw you had requested transfer. She is buried in an area which has no maps to search. We are taking pictures of all of the available markers.
transfer done. 60 years wow things changed a lot since your last visit! I was born in Perry County but had a lot of family in many of the county's there. My 3rd great grand parents settled in that area and 2nd great grand parents are buried in St, Michael's with some other family members.
I added the links, if you would like me to transfer no problem just use the edit tab on memorial. Include your member number as well. Do you live near the cemetery? I live in Florida and go to the area for a family reunion every two years or sooner if needed.
