Your memorial was a duplicate of one I created in 2012. Check out #92404392 or search her name and both will come up. Thanks.

Always lovingly honored & respected, Deborah
Dear Timothy,

THANK YOU so much, for the beautiful photo of may ancestors' headstone. I really appreciated the time and effort you took to obtain the photo for me!

May I use the photo on my private ancestry site? Of course, I will give you full credit.

RE: Sally High
I understand you were helping, please don't take my message wrong. I only wanted you to understand what can happen, I saw you hadn't been a contributor long. I probably overreacted a bit, but after reading the message she had on your page, with her telling you one thing & then doing something different, it bothered me, & I guess it shouldn't have. I have always allowed people to use my photos, but she never even bothered to ask. All she ever messaged me was to delete my duplicate. I am waiting to do this until she responds to the message I've left with her.
Sorry to come off in a bad way, PLEASE KNOW I was never upset with you, only trying to let you see what can & does happen. I actually love to volunteer with Findagrave, but you probably didn't get that out of my last message. Please accept my apology for having a bad day, & venting to you. Happy Hunting! Many Blessings to You!

Thanks for the memorial on Sally High she is a direct relative. I'm sorry the gentleman got so upset about the picture. My wrong! I have taken many pictures for folks and never cared what they use them for. so, I'll be more careful in the future.

When you alerted crutledge, contributor #47551913 of my duplicate entry, she took it in her hands to copy my photograph & take credit for it. I used my car, my gas, and my time to get this photo. It was extremely hot (Texas heat) middle of July. I was the one who removed all the spider webs to go into the gated area and plucked a few weeds to ensure a nice photo. I was terribly disappointed when I found out she copied my photo & used it as her own when I would have been happy to share. I understand you were trying to be helpful, so in the future, I hope you would let the contributor that created the duplicate aware, so these things don't happen. I noticed you were new to Findagrave and this happens so much, people taking credit for other's work so I wanted you to know that.
It is never my intention to create duplicates, it was an honest mistake on my part. When crutledge told you, she would try & have them combined, this was not what she did, so I thought you should know. I would have happily shared my photo, and I even went back out yesterday & took fresh ones that I added already. Just wanted you to know what's going on. Thanks so much for your time!

Thanks so much for pointing that out. I'll try to get the two combined.

RE: family
McKinney Cemetery I believe it shows is information. I have his marriage record to Almira Landon 1838, I have some clues I am working on and will share with you what ever I find. Where all have you tried to look for your Ancestor? There should be census for 1800's showing him living with the McKinney family I will see what help I can be for you.
Stay in touch
