RE: George & Louvenia Cameron
Your welcome. I recently moved and have been busy or would have done it sooner. I still have photos of the 4 rock piles with C markers at Hope Mills cemetery that are next to George & Louvenia that might be Camerons. I will look for them and send to you.

RE: Myla Hudson Lander
There are two entries for the same person. Myla "Hudson Lander" is memorial #23922677. Myla Hudson "Lander" is memorial #28416572. These were entered by different people at different times. The first has the photograph of Myla, the second has the photo of the markers. I knew her at FPC where I am now an Elder as she once was.

Steve, thanks for the transfers and for all your hard work. It is confusing and tricky sorting through the Wier and Blake graves and markers, deciding which ones are the actual graves and which ones are cenotaphs. For most part, the markers at Rock Presbyterian Church look much older than those much bigger and grander markers for the same people at Magnolia. Even though John Wier was said to be buried with the rest of the Wier family at the Rocks as early as 1900 in published accounts, the church had no record of his burial there and there is no marker for him there. Family records said he lived with his sister Elizabeth Blake, so it is logical that he and his niece Sarah Blake really are buried at Magnolia where they share a marker, even though Sarah's parents were buried back at the Rocks where both sets of their parents (Sarah's four grandparents) were buried. Some of the other Blake markers at Magnolia may also be cenotaphs but I'll have to study each one more carefully before saying for sure.

You are so very welcome for the photo's and no credit is due for the use of them. I noticed the name Cameron. I may have some of those in my photo library if you are interested?

RE: Memorial Photos
Wow, thank you for the acknowledgement! These graves were located together in an iron fence enclosure. I tried to get a photo of the whole plot & it was difficult with how the other markers were where I needed to stand to get a good photo. If I'm back over that way I will see about taking a step-stool & try again.

No apologies necessary. At least there was a headstone which is a happier story than no headstone. Happy trails.

Camerons in Elmwood Cemetery
Hello! Steve

I have provided Marker photos for you over time and know you are working on Cameron name. I was taking Pictures at Elmwood Cemetery in Fayetteville and found a Cameron family plot. All of the markers are gone except for the family plot marker and the foot stones. The foot stones have the initials on them and that might help you. If you want the picture I have, I will gladly send them to you. Most of the cemetery is damaged.
