RE: Anderson Seals
Hi again. In looking back into Anderson Seals family, I have a lovely young lady, Kate "Kitty" Seals listed as belonging to Maggie also. And a lovely photo someone else had posted. but no further record of her after 1910. Do you know anything about her and do I maybe have her listed under the wrong parent?

Hi. I do not remember if I have already replied to you or not. Here is what I know of his family. His grand-daughter by his daughter Lucy, Marian Owens, married my 1st cousin, John Melvin (Med) Noe. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, ladies and everyone in our family loved her, She had beautiful, snow white hair for years. She and Med had 2 boys, Gary and John Lee. Gary Lives in Somerset, KY. now but lived in Mt. Vernon near his parents for years. John Lee, the youngest, lives in the Dayton, Ohio area. Gary is on Facebook if you use it. I think he spells his name Garry Noe. Marian asked me if I would take her to the cemetery in Disputana where her grandparents are buried a couple of years ago (she did not drive)so we went, then went to Berea and had lunch. All the family missed her greatly when she passed away. Anderson and his wife's tombstone are still in really good shape and the little cemetery seemed to be well cared for.

Linda Hill & Veta Brown
Both memorials have been transferred over to your care. Take good care of them for me. I think they are some of the loveliest memorials I have created.

Cheers - Kathie

i will certainly share what little i know.....

Anderson and Almira Webb Seals had several children, one of which was named Mary Margaret (Maggie). She was never married, but had a son in 1900. This son was my grandfather. Maggie died in 1905, so Anderson and Almira raised my grandfather. He never knew much about his real father. We have heard his father was a Winstead.

I do have a Seals history book, written by a Scalf. he was the grandson of Anderson and Almira, but i think he is now deceased.

Who are your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents?

Thanks for getting in touch.

Chritina, not much to go on the memorial. Have you tried any research at all. Rootsweb, LDS records, ancestry, Smith county archives?
From the date of birth he is probably the son of J.M. Brown is my guess.
