It is perfectly acceptable to make a photo request on Find A Grave notwithstanding who created the memorial page.
Glad I could help again.

I would think the certificate is referring to the huge Oak Hill in Blue Island as the one in Palos is small. Also every burial that is known at the Palos one is online already including every picture that is legible.

|Julie Kossnar||RE: Emma Kossmar|
Emma and William were my Great Grandparents. Unfortunately, they both passed away before my Grandfather was born, so the family has next to no knowledge of them. I will ask my Aunt what she knows about her when I ask about the photo. Margaret Thurman was my Great Grand Aunt. We are third cousins! Nice to meet you. :)

You're welcome! I don't have the original; it belongs to an Aunt of mine. I'll check with her and see if I can get a copy. If I can, you are more than welcome to a copy as well! Thank you for all your hard work. It's wonderful! :)

I have transferred John Wesley Thurman to you. Please note, I usually only transfer to direct descendants. I would also appreciate you leaving the current info on the memorial. I have worked a long time on civil war memorials.

I've transferred maintence control per your reqeust.
In the future, please send any transfer or editorial requests using the "Edit" tab (upper right of each memorial page). Find A Grave will automatically create an e-mail addressed to the responsible contributor. The e-mail contains all the information needed to properly respond to your request.
I also keep a copy of that e-mail request for my records.
Thanks, and have another great day,

|Sue F.||RE: Richard Reischel|
I wasn't able to find any mention of Richard Reischel in the Cook Co. death index. There were three cemeteries that I know of located in Dunning: 1. the cemetery called Dunning which included burials from the poor farm, mental hospital, orphan asylum, etc. 2. Mt. Olive, which was chiefly a Scandinavian cemetery at that time, and 3. a Jewish cemetery.
Hope that helps.
