Thank you for the excellent photo of Robert & Mary Chapman's headstones at Boland Cemetery in Sharon. They're a nice addition to Find A Grave and to my family tree. I really appreciate your personal time taken to do this for me.

Thank you so much-the flag makes quite a difference-I was mightily impressed when I lived in USA to see all the flags in the cemeteries on Memorial Day!
Years ago, many of our wargraves had a painted steel flag by our wargraves, but sadly no more. However, with the centenary of the start of WWI coming up, and the renewed interest in honouring those who made the Supreme Sacrifice, maybe things will change?

I since noticed that you have only been a member of findagrave for 6 days so I am even more impressed!
Yes-having lived in USA I know what you mean-the problem is that cemeteries often aren't aware that it is what we call here a wargrave. In both our countries, the family are given the choice of having a free official marker or their own private stone, and sometimes the private ones are NSD-meaning no service details; some families preferred that no mention is made of war.

Wow-that was quick-I only had this transferred to me today as I am researching the casualties of the crash-two of whom are interred here in England [CAMBRIDGE American Cemetery]
That's a fine memorial and a very fine photo. Lots of people will be delighted to see it!
Thank you so much!
