I couldn't upload more than one when taking the picture from the request page. I was able to do it when I got home and fulfilled the requests from the laptop and not the phone. I think I have one more to find for you.

Glad to be of help, Steve. My phone battery died while taking those pictures yesterday, so I will finish up the rest of the requests today. Some have both the big family stone with all the names, and then individual small stones. I'll work on getting both posted. Not sure if I can post two photos with the request.

Thank you for your kind words, it was my honor and privilege Steve.
The cemetery is very well maintained and Assis can be seen in the distance.

No problem at all. I must admit the grave was difficult to find, and I was just about to give up when I spotted it!

Hello Steve, Glad to be of help, I'm just sorry that the vast majority of headstones in this cemetery are very weather worn, some are virtually illegible. I'm sure the CWGC will get around to replacing them fairly soon as they have embarked on a massive replacement programme of all the cemeteries and are doing a magnificent job.
However it might be worth sending them an email suggesting a replacement as they are very approachable regarding requests from family members .....Regards, John

|Pat Berel||Rose Lewing|
Steve, many thanks for taking the photo and posting it to the memorial for Rose. I live in Louisiana and I research the name Lewing always. My Lewing family was suppose to be from Ireland, but no real proof except for some census records with birthplace as Ireland. I appreciate you taking time to take the great photos.

You are welcome. I am pretty sure that their markers are there but I do not want to mess with them. Should be the family or maybe cemetery workers.

You are welcome. Too bad his marker is in such bad shape. I have a couple of more things to do with those Anyons, but is will be a while yet.
