RE: Henry VanHorn (146525988)
Bettina, I do not know for sure that he is buried in the Feaster-VanHorn Cemetery. Many of his close relatives have stones there, so it is a good bet. Steve Kroninbeiter(not sure that is spelled correctly), the man who has taken many of the photos lives not far from the cemetery and has been a great help with his pics of the stones. Another researcher told me that our Henry,Jr. is not listed in the records of veterans buried in the Newtown Cem. so I think we can rule that one out. The VanHorn bunch liked to use the same names for each generation, they intermarried, and the Dutch names are spelled differently by the stone carvers. It can drive a genealogist mad. Good luck to us all. Keep in touch. D

Henry VanHorn (146525988)
Hello Bettina, I was going to leave edits but I found your's were already pending. Do you happen to know where his father, Cpt.Henry VH Jr.(25686064) and his mother, Elizabeth VanZant are buried? I am a descendant through Henry III's brother Isaiah (53281075), buried in Indiana Co,PA. That makes us cousins of some kind. Thanks for your research of our ancestors. Darlene

Called my Aunt again and she says that yes Parsade lived at Trace Creek, says its not far from Naugatuck, West Virginia, also that they lived near Taylor, all these places are near each other. Aunt Betty is old, but pretty sharp, and she and Uncle Joe always made at least two or three visits to West Virginia/Kentucky a year. I'll see if I can find anyone else to ask.
