Thank you so much for William Fleming''s headstone photo.
He is not related to me but his grave is so very old, and only about a third of this cemetery has photos. I'm always afraid these stones will be lost forever :(. Sincerely, Kathy

Luther Lee Snow #138805308
Am sending you edit information next, but am so excited to find the memorial for my grand uncle, Luther Lee Snow. His death certificate doesn't have a place of burial listed so have been looking for it the past few years. Thanks so much for providing the photo of his headstone. It's a match so I am very, very grateful. Yay F/G volunteers!
All best, Amy (AJF #48344701)

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the note about Pamela Butler. I am aware that there are duplicate memorials for her. If I don't leave those up, then other people create a duplicate in the non-listed name, because of the way her name is shown on her tombstone. In this case, because of the different surnames, it's better to leave them both.

Thanks so much!

Kind regards,

Linda, I have photographed some in the Mt Hope and I know of a couple other contributors photographing it but it's a long way from being complete.

Hi Linda,

I was thinking of my friend, Connie last night and went to look for her memorial. Tonight I looked at the picture you took of her grave marker. I was surprised to learn you just took the photo about a week ago. Thanks so much. It was like you knew I would be looking for it. Blessings, Debbie

RE: Pvt Joseph H Ladd
I found it by clicking on the link to the left of my old memorial for him that said "find all Ladds in Williamson Co". I had done that before several times in hopes that maybe someone would have found him in another cemetery, but I never had any luck. This time I hit pay dirt with your memorial! Thanks again! I may just keep my own old memorial and use your photo, if that's ok with you, as I have his bio on that one and he is linked with some family. I have already edited it to show that he is buried in Williamson Memorial. Thanks again!

Pvt Joseph H Ladd
Hello Linda,
I see that you have found a gravestone that I have been looking for for several years. Pvt Joseph H Ladd in Williamson Memorial Gardens was my husband's grandfather. His death certificate said he was buried in a different cemetery so I have been looking in the wrong place! I have a memorial on findagrave already for him that I put up in 2011 but of course it is not correct. I was wondering if you could either transfer your memorial to me or if you would prefer, just delete it and with your permission I will use your gravestone photo on my own and update the memorial. Either way is OK with me, and thanks in advance if you would not mind doing it. I am so grateful that you have found it and taken a photo of the stone! Thank you very much.

RE: Photos
Thanks to you too. I know what you mean about it being like a city.Just in the Chapel Garden Section there was over 2700 people. It would be great if there was some way for all the photo takers to communicate with each other. You and I have started so maybe it will spread. If you are working in Live Oak now, I have added 1 record from that area. My sister-in-law Norma Stephens is buried in that area, so if you run across her marker it has already been added. Thanks again and we'll talk more later.

RE: thanks
You're welcome. Yes I have taken photos in other sections, with my brother's help. It is our goal to try and complete Greenwood. We have completed Section 29-Chapel Garden, Section 32-Bluebird, Hillside and are now working in Memory Lawn. We plan to go back and finish Repose 30. The last two times we were out there there was a funeral once and the workers were cutting down a tree the 2nd time and we didn't want to get in anyone's way.
Thank you for letting me know about the 2 duplicates I had. I have deleted both of them.
