RE: Happy Valley Diamond OR,Harney Co.
Marjorie Ann Smyth (1906-1997) was the daughter of George Adam Smyth & Fannie Elizabeth Claybrook, which I have 4 children for George Adam Smyth & his wife Fannie: John Adam Smyth, James Clifford Smyth, Marjorie & Lucille Smyth. Fannie had 5 children before she married George & their last name was Huffman.

My paternal grandmother had a half brother named Andrew Jackson Shull, Jr who at the age of 15 moved to the state of Oregon from Missouri to live with his Shull relatives. He met his future wife, Marjorie Smyth there. You can read about his life a little here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=33298739

Andrew was only supposed to stay out there a year or so and his family here felt that he was encouraged to stay so that made his mother pretty sad. I have a recording of Andrew and Marjorie that the library there mailed me with them giving an oral history interview to someone interested in the history there. Andrew & Marjorie had three children: Bud, Gloria & Greg whom I'm sure still live in that area.

RE: CHIEF BUFFALO HORN
I was sent the information on his Findagrave.com entry by historians and ancestors. If you have information to the contrary, please forward the documentation and I'd be happy to correct the entry. Also, if you have documentation to the contrary of his burial site, I can list this entry and marker as a "cenotaph."
