RE: William Andrew Cox
She's listed, but nothing about a marker. I did miss a wife on a stone at the IOOF, told the person I couldn't find her marker, and they said "she's on the other side of his"....I went back out and got it. Ever since then, I walk all the way around those big square puppies!

Have they remounted the stone? Or did you shoot this before it toppled over? Am wondering if possibly Elizabeth Kirkland Cox is on the other side of the same maker. They are listed in the same plot, and were apparently husband/wife. Never could find her anywhere else, so thought maybe she was face down when I shot his stone after the fall...

Frank A Batchelor
Debbie - the only marker Frank Batchelor had was a mortuary marker. It may not still be there, since they are such fragile items. If you can't find it, let me know and "unclaim" the request. I already have a photo of his marker.

RE: Info on P.H. Price headstone
I just sent you an e-mail and hope you got it.

I just talked to my mother and she does remember Lester Price a little bit. She said he was in a car accident, right? She said it was the son that she talked to in the white house who told her where to find Geraldine Price. He gave her the room number, too. So I guess your cousin might be a bit behind on the latest news on Geraldine.

RE: Info on P.H. Price headstone
That's neat about your dad being Lester Price. I will ask my mother if she remembers him. She was born and grew up in Oakland area. We did go across the street to the white house and the lady said that she had to put Geraldine in the nursing home as her illness got pretty bad and she needed full time attention. That was a couple months ago. Maybe she did move back home?

RE: Info on P.H. Price headstone
Thank you very much for the update on this headstone. It makes sense now. We were across the street at the house where my mother's old childhood friend used to live and while I was waiting outside in my car, I happened to see this across the street. My mother's friend is Geraldine (Price) Jones. We found out that she's now living in the nursing home and sadly unable to remember anything anymore. Are you related to Geraldine?
