RE: Woodwards in Essex County
Hi Mike,

Just realized that I had not finished adding the names to Overlook that I had transcribed.
(Did finish Concord Village though!)
I have added Lucius and their son Elmore, and have linked them all.
I did find his death card that says his parents were William Woodward and Elizabeth Everett, and that he was born in Hanover, NH

RE: Peavey graves
Thanks Mike...! For so many unknown burial locations of Civil War veterans, it isn.t until the stone is located that one can tell if it is the right person. But you have helped to memorialize the Vermont Peavey's. Happy trails...

Mary (Brittain) Woodward
RE: finda memorial #113711069

Mary (Brittain) Woodward was my way-back grma.
Seems much of her bio in your memorial to her came from my research. (e.g. marriage intentions "in rec'd" Danville - my freeware program always inserts the "in" for a place even when I want "rec'd"....

Anyway, I am wondering your sources:
-- for believing "she married 3rd James Hunt of Bradford in 1824";
-- of her having died Aug 09 1839
-- also, why you think she was buried in the Danville Green Cemetery?
The only "Mary Hunt" in the sexton's index card file was b. 1840, d. 1888".
An online index lists another b.ab.1790, d. May 1842.
Obviously, neither of them is our Mary (Brittain).

Woodwards in Essex County
Hello again Mike,

I told you I would let you know if I had come across any Woodwards in my travels.
Guess what!
I photographed Overlook (Old and New) in East Concord and found Lucious C. Woodward (d. 6/20/1895 @ 79y 1m 4d)and his wife Hannah B. Isham (1816-1906)

Don't know if they are in your family tree, but thought I would share.
I haven't finished transcribing my photos so I do not know if there will be more...

Joan Alexander
west glover woodwards
I did find John and Georgianna today at the West Glover cemetery, but no luck finding Lemuel. All the gravestones in Glover have been transcribed and published along with other related genealogical data gleaned from vital records and available genealogical sources, so I went to the West Glover section, but there is no record of Lemuel. It could, of course, have been an omission...I will check to see if Lemuel is listed with some errors that have been discovered and are on file at the museum.
I did find a Hattie Woodard (not Woodward) just 12 feet away from John Woodward, and did add photos to Hattie's page, thinking maybe the carver just forgot the second w. But after finding more info in the cemetery book, they may have been near each other because of a Carpenter connection, not because Woodard should have been Woodward...
There must have been some reason for Lemuel's name ending up on the roster of burials in West Glover. I did not walk the cemetery scanning for Lemuel.

Shirley Maynes
Mary Berry Woodward
Are you sure that this person is the one married to Charles ( who would have been 100years old )? There isn't any record of Mary Berry Woodward buried in the Stukely Cemetery. Also is the Hill family related? Charles Woodward ( both Sr. and Jr. ) in Waterloo Cemetery are interred in the Hill Plot.

Hi Mike,

Made the changes for Daniel James Woodward.
I haven't been able to find his father, or his mother for that matter in my Danville records.

George Washington Hudson/ Maranda Hartwell Hudson Peavey
Hi, I got your message regarding George Washington Hudson (1854-1933; memorial 54313573). The record for his marriage to Cora B Waid (1874-1942; memorial 54313597) lists his parents as Albert W. and "Dorathy."

As far as I know, the only children Maranda Hartwell and Erwin Hudson had were Norman Erwin Hudson (b. 2 Jan 1882 East Haven, VT) and Nora Hudson (b. 2 Aug 1878 East Haven, VT; d. 13 Dec 1899 East Haven, VT - married name Abar).

Woodwards in Danville Cemetery
Hello again Mike,

I have been transcribing my photos from Danville (much better than mowing the lawn!!)
I have come across James and Mary's daug. Ida May.
Unfortunately my photo sucks for Ida and I can't read the year of death. It looks like 1921 but don't know for sure.
I have added memorials for her and her husband Harry C Gilbert. I am more than happy to transfer them over to you if you would like.

RE: Woodwards
Hi Mike,

Glad I could help with the photos. I have just finished putting photos up for Woodwards in the Danville cem. If you find any memorials that I have added and you would like them just let me know. I would be happy to transfer them over to you.

I have not been to any of the Peacham cemeteries. But are you familiar with this website?
It has a list of cemeteries in each county. I have found it quite useful.

RE: Dr. Calvin Woodward photo
Hi Mike,

I have checked through my records of cemeteries and have yet to come across Sophia Robinson.
I will keep an eye out for her though.
I kind of have a running list of names that people have asked me to look out for.

Woodwards in Danville Cemetery
Hi Mike,

I filled the request you had in Danville for Frank L. Woodward. There is a shot of the entire plot and it holds his wives Mary Goss and Lucy.
But the name on the stones is James L. Woodward not Frank. Just thought I would let you know.

Flora Coe Roberts
Flora is Francis' wife and her name is on his headstone. I just put in a photo request for her, so maybe you'd like to post the headstone photo to her memorial, too? Thanks much! Barb

Francis Roberts
Thanks for the great photo of Francis' headstone! Barb

Shirley Mitchell
James & Haden Cass

Thanks for letting me know so I could link him to his father. I just found the death certificate for Haden's wife, Flora Ella. My goodness did these people live a long time! She lived to be 100 years and 2 days.

Her death cert says she was born Jan 21, 1835 Fitch Bay QE, and died Jan 23, 1935 if they got that right. She is buried in Stratford Center Cemetery right down the street from me so I can look for her next time I go there. Also... she didn't die in East Stratford... it was Stratford. There is no East. :)

Are these relatives of yours? If so I will transfer any of them to you that you need. They aren't related to me. You can list Flora and I will just try to get you a pic.... or I can just make a listing for her if you're not related. Just let me know.

RE: Peavey graves
Sorry Mike, that link did not load for me. I am looking for a Civil War Vet by the same first and last name and same middle initial. Burial and death date unknown. So was hoping that the stone would provide some details to help discern if this is the same man. At any rate, a photo of the family stone would be nice for anyone searching. Thanks for all your help.
