Steven Crawford
I confirmed the location of his grave, and that there is no grave marker. The graves with markers are numbered (1)Clinton, (2)Marion, and (4)Pamela. I believe that grave (3) has probably been purchased for Pamela's husband David and that graves (5 & 6) were probably purchased for Steven's parents. I am just surmising that from the order of the marked graves, of course, and the fact that the cemetery would not have allowed for Steven's remains to be buried between lots 5 & 6 if those lots had not been purchased for the family.

Clinton, Marion and Steven Crawford
My day didn't go as planned today, and I reached the cemetery just before sunset. I will be going back to get some better (I hope) photos in different light within the next few days. Also, I didn't see a marker for Steven, but I will double check that, as well.

Both of their mothers' are named Nina. That is what made me go there. You know how we hunters are...never know when there is a clue.
I think I connected both of them. I have entered more connections than submissions. Wish I had a count of that.
All of had family from Upcountry SC, if you know where that is. I am related to Jimmy on my father's side as well.....six times.

Thanks. I still need to connect his mother to Hugh Auchinloss, I think. I thought I had already connected these people but guess not. Gore Vidal is a cousin...never knew him. We are both related to President Jimmy Carter, which I think they both knew that.

Oops! All of the info and photos I have located for you are in Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, CA.
I located the family in the city directories for San Jose. Could this all be a giant mistake or coincidence?

You're very welcome! It seems that I'm the one who photographed the rest of the family at Oak Hill. When you return I will be happy to place the photo on a memorial for Nick if you're interested. Have a grand holiday!

Mary Rossich
Hi,
We located the very large Rossich memorial in Section "Q" with several names. Unfortunately none of them
is Mary. We did however find a person whose birth and death dates are as follows. No name, just the following: birth year 1885, death year 1919.
I will be happy to forward a photo of the headstone and you can let me know what you think .

Elizabeth Robinson - Mt Muncie
Hi again! My apologies for the last paragraph about submitting edits to you. I didn't realize you were not the creator of her memorial and I forgot to erase that part before I sent the message. I did contact the creator though, and asked if she could make those additions.

Regards

Elizabeth Robinson - Mt Muncie
Hi! I wanted to let you know a few things I saw and discovered while looking for Elizabeth's stone.

While her name does not appear on the family monument there are other family members that do.

Harrison (husband) 51396300
Francis (daughter) 51396951
- Richard (Francis' husband) 51396774
- Francis & Richard's Children
- Albina 51397057
- Margaret 54539319
- Robert 54539304
- Clinton 51397072
- Clifton 54539271
- Matilda 51397108
- Virginia 51397094
- Thomas (Francis' grandson by son, Lewis) 54539331
- Polina (Francis' husbands 1st wife) 51396440
- Oscar (Francis' husband's child w/1st wife) 51396583

I wanted to make sure I had the right stone so I looked on ancestry.com and the records I found show the connection but she went by Eliza on the census records. Not sure if that was a nickname or her real name.

Sorry I could not have been more help with Elizabeth, not sure why her name doesn't appear with her family

I submitted a few edits to you. A link to her husband, her plot location, and adding M as her middle initial (according to the office).

Regards
Shannon B

Perry Isaacks
I photographed all of the headstones in Tidwell Cemetery last year. I did not find one for Perry, though I did find his wife's grave.
I don't know if he is buried by his wife. However, there is not a headstone next to her grave.
Sorry,
Mel

I forgot to mention that your aunt Mary's marker was likely an upright white marble monument that has fallen down at some point in the past. She is buried next to her mother, Ann.

RE: Torbjorg Hoversland Nergaard
I think that when there's no marker on a grave, it may be because:

1) There was no money for a marker,

2) The family couldn't agree on details,

3) The family chose to wait a while before getting a grave marked. As time passed, the family forgot, procrastinated, or even died.

RE: Torbjorg Hoversland Nergaard
The cemetery is divided into Sections > Map Areas > Lots > Spaces.

Torbjorg Hoversland Nergaard is buried in Summerland > Map A46 > Lot 6228 > Space 1

Lot 6228 has at least 6 spaces, but only a few grave markers. According to the Forest Lawn search engine, Torbjorg is buried in Space 1 but there is no marker there.

I identified markers for other people burked in Lot 6228 > Spaces 5 and 6, so I know that I was at the right plot.

I checked the Forest Lawn online search engine. I found other makers in the same plot - spaces 5, 6.

RE: Alex and Barbara Campbell
Alexander Campbell was my grandfather, my father was your great-grandmother's nephew and I believe he had been in touch with her a few times though he passed away in 2006. I have info on the family back to your great-grandmother's grandfather. Her father was Alexander Campbell (1830-1922, married to Anabelle Cameron 1838-1915) one of 10 children. Their parents were John and Elizabeth Ann (MacKenzie) Campbell. John Campbell (1798-1866) and came to Nova Scotia about 1817 from Aberfeldy, Scotland settling at Malagawatch on the north side of the Bras D'Or Lake and built a log cabin and set up a loom he brought with him from Scotland. (Hence he has been known as "John the Weaver") He cleared land to grow flax to make thread so he could work at his trade as a weaver.
What specifically would you like to know about Alexander (from the picture)? He has two living sons and one daughter who could fill you in better than I could.
Contact info?
Regards,
James

Hi! I have uploaded your photo requests. I wanted you to be aware that on some of the markers there are variations in their names compared to the memorial pages. Nettie, Helen, & Catherine were the ones I noticed had something different on their stones.

Mt Muncie Requests (sec 5 lot 86)
I am glad to do it. I enjoy helping everyone who submits a request. Thank you for calling the Mount Muncie office ahead of time. I have a pretty good relationship with the office but alot of times the gm gene is not in the office so I have to wait awhile till he is to get the grave locations so thank you. I will have your requests fulfilled by the end of the day tomorrow.
Best Regards
Shannon B
