RE: Elm Grove Cemetery
Thank you again for all your effort. My fear is that their headstones have been destroyed or just worn away thru the years.

RE: Marie Walker headstone
Thank you so much for taking the time to check for me. I have Marie Walker's headstone, but I would love to have your photo as well. My email address is indyherb@sbcglobal.net if you would like to send it. Gus and Effie Walker (my grandparents) are supposed to be buried there also, but as of yet have been unable to find them. Thank you again for looking.

RE: C N McClanahan headstone
Hello! The photo I uploaded in Oak Grove Cemetery (McCracken County, KY) is of the family plot. I just wanted others to see there was a family plot for Charles N McClanahan d. 1952. I see they are both there, here is where each are buried:

C N McClanahan was in another section close by, I assume you have his headstone photo. I am going to be out that way tomorrow if you want me to check for headstones. :) And I will probably be at the library this week if you need information on anyone. I am not sure of this family because I have only lived here a couple years.

Vance/Vernon Neal Smith
You were exactly correct. Vernon Neal Smith was his name. Thank you very much for finding the marker, photographing it, and posting the photo. It's not uncommon to correct errors by using the info on headstones. Thanks for helping me correct Vernon's information.

Thank you so much for the photo of CB Ralph's marker. And it is clearly CB not CE as indexed. This is what I thought given the dates but it is fantastic to see it and know I have found his final resting place. Thank you!

J. C. McLister headstone
Betty, thanks for the photo of J. C. McLister's headstone. When I blew up the photo and looked closely, I could see what you described. The symbol of the square and compass (with or without the "G" in the middle) is one of the more recognizable symbols of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons (AF&AM). I do not know at this time whether J. C. McLister was a mason, but it would not surprise me. Many of my male ancestors were.
Thanks,

Thank you for taking the photograph of Agnes Jane Peoples Boyce grave at the Salem A.R.P. Church Cemetery in Tipton County, Tennessee.

Betty, it is thanks to individuals like you; who volunteer their time to bring ancestors closer together, even if it is only through a photograph of their final resting place. This will help future generations in our family to know a little more about their ancestor. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston
