|BJ Miller||RE: Ruth Beagle tombstone|
This cemetery is not easy to find. It is on 1032, but it is deep in the woods and on private property. There is no way to give directions to the location. This is the 2nd time we have been there and it took alot of hiking and searching to find it. I have posted all the pictures on findagrave that I have for the people listed. Most of the cemetery is field stone and cannot be identified. There is also another one that is made like a log on a stand but there is no writings on it anywhere. I read all the stones and posted all information I have gathered from the cemetery. As you are looking at findagrave, all the postings I have contributed are from reading the stones and it is a full listing of what we could read. Other memorials have been added by other people and those are from death records. There is probably 100+ burials here but very little information. I encourage any information to be posted or please contact me. Thanks to everyone who has helped identify the burials. I believe most of my family is buried here but there is no insciptions on most of the stones.

I found the info on Ancestry.com and on his family tree he had a brother named Daniel and it lists Daniel in same cemetery ad the one you have. So I would say that they are brothers... Also found Nancy's parents names on Ancestry.com.
I am not related, when I go to a cemetery to fulfill photo requests I will take photos of others graves in the area and if they are not on Find A Grave, I will add them along with any info I can find and link them to family when possible..
I also have a Thomas Wade 1787-1869, born in Va, died in Iowa, he is my 3rd great grandfather, parents were Alexander Wade and Elizabeth Moore Wade...My great grandfather George Irvin Wade came to Missouri...and my grandmother married into Boyd family..

|Betty C||Sarah Nancy Wade - Wife of John Eli Wade|
I am a descendant of John Eli Wade's brother, Martin Luther Wade.
I'm curious about Sarah Nancy Wade's maiden name. Is she from a different Wade line? How did you determine that her maiden name was also Wade? I, of course, assumed that her maiden name was different from her married name - but in the Find-A-Grave virtual record you show a number of Wade siblings for her. Would love to have more info.
Thanks for whatever you can share.

Again, you are quite welcome :)
With as many pictures as you have taken, I know you understand the difficulties in locating some of the names in Pythian Grove. I posted what info I gathered in hopes it will help others (does our research ever really stop? lol...)
At any rate, it was a great excuse to get outdoors doing something now that the weather is changing.
I hope you are able to enjoy some of this lovely spring weather as well.

I ran out and added GPS locations to those sites. I also added a picture to Ruby's memorial... I hope thats ok.
When you drive straight in, Ruby and Alva are just past the center triangle with the flag - off to the left.

|Billie McCombs||Robert Wagner|
Robert Marion Alvin Wagner, born September 1889. I believe he died at age 18. The Alvin in his name probably came from (Uncle Al) John Alvin Wagner.

|Mark Jonese||RE: Wade Family|
Matthew, I have my Wade's traced back to a John Wade Born in 1723/24 in Maryland or England. Married Sophie Howard and had sereral kids. Next in my line is Otho Wade born 1766 in Augusta County, VA died in 1825 Bath County, VA. Next is James Wade born 1814 Bath County, VA and died in Highland County, VA in 1897. For info, Augusta Co, was chopped up and formed Bath Co, which was chopped up and formed Highland Co, VA. Not seeing a Daniel in my trees but will take a closer look. Get on line and look for Daniel in a book called the history of Highland Co, VA, might help. We are probably related as families moved west from VA to Ky as I have seen in some of my other trees. Will contact you when I found out something. Mark

|Daniel and Audrey Briggs||Elmer J. Wade # 44757229|
The memorial for Elmer has "sunk" probably because of the tree you see in the foreground. I did how ever go into the office and got Elmer's death date which is 3/14/1960.
