re reuben hill links
Hi Barbara,
I linked him to his father, David Hill.

Did you know that you can request links through the new edit linking feature?
Please use that because it is much easier.
Thank you for your edits.

No, I am not related. I foung the graveyard after an old man at a shop on the main street in Kingston told me where it was whrn I was looking for stones for Sudweeks, Syrett and Morrill as a contributor for Findagrave. I live in Monroe - about 40 miles away. I will send the pictures to you.

Nora & Dora Sudweeks
I have 3 pictures of the small private family graveyard where the marker (Wm. Sudweeks Twins) is. if you are interested. They were not burried in the Kingston Cemetery, but in one about 2 miles north of it.

"Tex" Baler
The "Tex" Baler's claimed he was Mexican . There was not many Mexicans in the area at that time . I did see some of the Baler's from the Utah Indian Territory. That would be the Ute Indians?

I had seen in my research that one of the Baler's was living on Utah Indian territory. Is the family Utah Indians? What tribe?

The Closet Skeleton Genealogical Society
Rounding Archibald
Hi Barbara, I managed to locate a wedding record for Emma McClement and 'Rounding P Archibald'. Parents were Martha Readman and Robert Archibald. I then went ahead and found some census records. I have Robert's birth record but do not believe they are the same son - I think they might be two different boys, Robert and Rounding. If you leave me an e-mail address I can send the originals over to you and leave you to decide.
Be well,
Jenn

The Closet Skeleton Genealogical Society
Rounding Archibald
Hi Barbara, he shares a stone with Mary Hall and George Harper Archibald, I'll send you a link to the stone picture in hopes that you can place him.

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=118483053&PIpi=99171319

He died 24 Apr 1947 at 65 years according to the stone. If we can do anything to help just leave a note. There were quite a few downed trees when we were there plus the snow still, after spring cleanup we'll go back and see if we can get some more images, we're not done uploading yet but I'm not seeing more Archibald stones just off the top. Hope all of this helps you some,
Jenn

The Closet Skeleton Genealogical Society
King City Cemetery and the Archibald family
Hi there, I'm Jenn from Closet Skeleton Genealogical Society. We've been slowly working on photographing and uploading King Cemetery and when we went there today I took some images of your Archibald family. I'm just beginning to upload - But wanted you to know in case it helps you any with your research. I also didn't add a memorial for Rounding Archibald because I thought you might like to? If you add him, we'll upload the picture to him as well - Just leave us a note with his memorial number and someone will get to it.
Have a lovely evening,
Jenn

RE: John Alton Elder
Barbara- I want to thank you so very much for the info you sent me. When I visited that cemetery, I recorded that there were 2 infants - Elder buried in the Bauman plot and did not know the connection. They were in fact the sons of Mary and John Alton. Thanks again- take a look at the entry now. #26448690

RE: John Alton Elder
I found John ok... but need more info on Mary Bauman. Who was she? Do you know who her parents were? Is she buried beside John. I can't find her on the Mt Olivet list of burials.
I need to know because the Bauman family is who I am connected with and would like to put her in the family. Thanks

Fay C. Leonard
William Robert Elder
Hi Barbara
Regarding the edit you requested for William's birth year, I located his death record, transcribed it and placed it under his bio. It states he was born in 1855 so I checked for him under census records and he is consistently listed as having been born in 1855. Following are his ages in all census years:
1860 = 5; 1870 = 15; 1880 = 24; 1900 = 45; 1910 = 54; 1920 = 64; 1930 = 74.
I was wondering if you have other documentation regarding his birth year before I make the requested change.
I certainly want this to be accurate.
Thank so much for your help.

RE: Peter
Hi Barbara,

Thanks for clearing that up. His father's memorial does not list "Theodore" and his mother's just has "Louise", neither of which are in the obit. They are now linked :)

Best Wishes,
Lucia

Peter "Bert" Christensen
Hi Barbara,

I received your edit to link Bert to his parents, however the memorial numbers you sent me we for Soren Peter Christensen Louisa P. Christensen. Those names do not match those given in Bert's obituary. His obit states he was the son of Peter T. Christensen and Agnes Sophia Pedersen. I did not do the links, and will need to do further research prior to making them.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Lucia
