Bell-Welborn Cemetery
Thank you so much. My sister and I went out to that general area. We stopped and asked at the 311 and Branson Davis intersection. Several people offered suggestions and we did drive down Earl Johnson Rd. We apparently were so close! Again thank you. I'll try again.

James York is my GG Grandfather. I tried to find his gravesite 5 years ago and had no luck. I wandered around in the same area for hours. Thank you for sticking with it!! And thank you for the excellent photographs of his marker.

Best regards,

James Clark

Unfortunately, a lot of people don't read the FAQs that contain the rules for the site. There are also those who read them and do whatever they want anyway. It is a growing problem that Find A Grave will have to address at some point.

I do not add obituaries to memorials because it is against Find A Grave standards. I will add a bio at a later date.

I noticed the message you left for Wayne Hamm asking him to delete Pilgrim Holiness Cemetery. I thought you should know he is inactive and will not answer the request.

Thank you for going out in this cold weather to get a picture for me. I tried reading what was on the stone. Did you remember what it said? Faithful to her _______________________? Have a great day. You made mine.

Thanks so much for taking making the journey for the priceless photos from this cemetery! They include my fourth great-grandparents. I have made two "meccas" to Randolph County to visit my dearly departed, and will have to add this one to my visit list for next time! As a fellow graver, I appreciate your hard work!
Thanks, Henweigh

RE: Florence Alice Ritter Cross
Thank you so much for the picture. I think the order of her names may remain a mystery. According to marriage, death and census records she always went by Alice. Except in the 1880 Census when she was still at home with her parents and for some odd reason in 1920 when her husband Van was working in WVa and she was the only occupant of the house hold. Both of those incidents she used Florence A. It may be that every one knew her as Alice but when "SHE" furnished her name she used her formal birth name. Makes little difference 85 years after her death. I am just clad to have one more small link in the family. Thanks once more for another picture.

Michael that's fine. I wanted to add the info in the bio so we wouldn't get duplicate notifications. Mary
