Matilda Kelley Hall
Hi Dianne,
Wonderful information on Matilda and William Hall. But, I noticed you said the information came from a famliy bible.I was curious firstly was Matilda 's maiden Kelley? Is this her maiden name or did she pick up her husband ' s middle name? I'm curiously wondering if she could be a Beaty. The reason I'm asking is the naming of their children resembles my Matilda and her Beaty family. Like the son Walter Beaty Hall would match my Matilda ' s father Walter Beaty. And Margaret Elvory Hall, Matilda ' s mother as Margaret. Some more of the naming of the Hall children like Kennady matches Matilda 's brother David Kennedy or Kennady. Matilda had a brother named William Beaty, Walter Lindsay Beaty. Sisters named Martha, Jane, Elizabeth. Cause the only info I have is Matilda Beaty married a one William Hall. They did start out in NC but I believe ended up in Georgia. Thank you again. Brenda Wood

Possible Information
Hi,

I was looking at your page on William Kelly Hall, Sr (Memorial# 53755975). On it you mention several children's names found in a family bible. Does there happen to be any further info on the children, specifically Martha Elvory Hall? I am trying to see if she is the same Martha Hall who married Braswell Johnson. Thanks.

Are we related?
Do you think my ancestors knew yours? McCall and Newmans, Bowens......Ulster Scots who arrived in Ga. via NC via Pennsylvania to get away from the Indians/French in the 1740s

Are you by chance kin to Teresa Bean who lived in Macon? She lost her brother in a motorcycle accident around 1972.

thanks for checking at the cemetery. i just thought it would be nice to have a photo of the headstone on his memorial page. the cemetery listing has been removed from his memorial page so there will not/cannot be any more photo requests.

Thank you so much, unfortunately all I have is that he passed after 1989 and did not find out much about him either.

Thank you for all your efforts, I read your BIO and I agree that Find A Grave is amazing and so very important to folks researching their family lines. It has been amazing to be able to find out so much information and I am slowly entering my family info on it to hopefully be of assistance to others as well as serving to remember those who have passed.

Thanks so much,
Gail

Actually, I think you will find that this is not black paint but that most white marble that has been etched will do this over time. Since your photos are older, this has not had a chance to happen at the time you took them. I think it is a form of mold or mildew, which could be cleaned off but it would only come back so rather than add wear to the marker, it seems better to leave it.
