Joseph Fox Log Cabin
Hey! What road is the Joseph Fox log cabin on? Google maps says "Renner's Run Rd." but I know they get road names messed up sometimes. Did you meet the owners of the cabin? Thanks!
We are planning a big family trip up there. Did you ever find the grave either?

RE: Wright lineage
Heck yes I can help!
I have some information like where he lived, I have pictures of him, I know exactly where his house was (it was a log cabin). He has married several of my ancestors. Do you have any info on his brother David? There is a stone in Garrett Cem where George is buried that says David L. And nothing else. It is a fieldstone. Do you have any info on Oliv / Olive Wright died 1899 as a kid? Go look at the pic I posted for her in Garrett Cem, isn't it neat? I found it leaning up against one of my relatives stones. I my be related to you, as I have Fox lineage, starting with Joseph Fox, the Revolutionary War veteran from Greene County, PA.
Thanks!

RE: Fox ancestors
There is a book you need to see! The Fox book says Charity was buried in the Kennedy Cemetery on 8 Mile Ridge, Wetzel County, WV. however, on 8 Mile there is a Fox cemetery where he nephew Frederick Fox established. He is my line, and There isn't enough space for Charity to have been buried there unmarked, but I have seen graves squeezed in where there isn't room so it is still possible. Their son, Isaac Wright and his family are buried in the Garrett Cemetery not far from Eight Mile. So, it's really anybody's guess. I don't have a copy of the book but some of my relatives do, so it may be a while before I can find anything for you. You could probably contact t he guy that wrote the book and ask him if he will sell you one.

Your cousin, Eli

RE: help with SAR application
Jill,

Unfortunately, the marriage records that I have for Joseph Alexander Wright (first and second marriages) do not list his parents.

The information I used to link Joseph to Jonathan Wright and Margaret Hamilton came from FamilySearch.org

It gave his death date as January 15, 1925 in Ravenna, Portage County, Ohio. If you can locate his death record, it might have his parents names listed on it.

Regards,

Rick

Hi: not sure which post you are referring to??
Samuel J. Kennedy #74921037 ??

There were several Samuel Kennedys in Wv.

http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_dcresults.aspx?LastName=kennedy&FirstName=samuel&County=All&Year=All&PlusMinus=Exact&Search=Exact&NumRec=25

I will help you if I can.
I think your Samuel is a different one than I have posted.
