I became involved with placing veterans' memorials through my membership in United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC). Through our chapter, we adopted a local cemetery and place flags on all veterans' graves twice a year - Once on Memorial Day and then again on Veterans Day. I became aware of Find a Grave through my office of registrar of UDC and would like to contribute helping people with their family quest!
