Photo Request
I notice that you have a photo request for the grave of Elizabeth and William Bopp in Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor, New York. I live right next to the cemetery and go walking there a few times a week. I'd be happy to take a picture of your loved one's grave, but since it's quite a large cemetery, it would be helpful if you could find out the section and lot. You can reach the Woodlawn Cemetery office at 845-561-1249. If you can give me that info, I should have the picture up within a few weeks.

Abram D Wager

I am trying to find information on my g.g.g grandfather, Abram D Wager. I managed to find his obituary, but can not find any information that goes further back in the Wager family and noticed you are linked to him on Ancestry.

Can you help?

Thank you!

We must be related cause you keep asking me to transfer members of my family. I usually am happy to transfer memorials of non-family members, but I am rather reluctant to let go of family members. You can still post pics and remove adds if you like. Any information you wish me to add I will be happy to do so, as you help me to fill in my family information also. Send me a note on the memorial when you add stuff so I can update my family tree on also please.

I see your point -- I think someone had seen the marker with the two "Mucks" with her and decided she must be a Muck, not a Mick. I have changed the memorial. It looks like her mother was Nancy and her stepfather was Edward, do you know her mother's maiden name or much else about her?

I went to the library and took a picture of the page in the cemetery book with Ada's name on it. I knew where the Adams beside her were. I had looked at this stone before, but couldn't read it. There were two stones there like hers.
Bessie and William. I have already posted them on line. I wonder if they are her children.

RE: john prettit
I wish I could tell you it was a marked grave, but the state decided that wasn't important in the 1950s.

Jeannette Bopp
I received your request from Find a Grave and went out yesterday to search the cemetery. Unfortunately I did not find her.
That being said, many of the stones are broken and weather beaten beyond legibility. But since according to your records she was only 11 years old at the time of her death, I thought perhaps she would be buried near other family "Bopp's" rather than a solitary grave.
But no Bopp family members was there.
Before I check the box to say its not there, I left a message with the cemetery office to call me back and to research their records to see if they have her name listed.
I will let you know whatever information I receive.

I can find the cemetery and get a picture of the grave in the days to come, as there is another individual who rests nearby, but not at the Everman Cemetery in Gregoryville. Need to finish Everman Cemetery in Gregoryville first. Let me know when your requests are complete.

If you could find someone responsdible for the cemetery records we may find David's location as he rests among his brothers who also fought in the War.

I know where he should be buried. I bet that his VA bronze marker was likely stolen. Of course there are others out there but they may have been replaced after being stolen. He should be with his brothers at the southwest corner of the cemetery and access road.

Charlotte Dickinson Brownell Talbert
I can't imagine where Charlotte is!

Her memorial has now been changed by its owner to reflect her married name Talbert.

Her obit in the 1916 Lexington paper (atttached to memorial) says she was buried in the Lexington Cemetery. Also her husband, children, and brother are in Section: I-1, Lot: 5, Part: E1/2

Thank you for looking for her to do the photo.

Also IF there is something ingraved on either of their graves - Francis Powell or her husband Harvey L Powell 1837 1894- can you please write that down?

Thanks so much, Dalton Smith
