RE: Littell Cemetery, Pleasanton, KS
Thank you for the compliments , Don't you mean Perry Ragain CEMETERY ? The littell cemetery is the one tore up by the tornado . Any way what about the records do you wish to know ?

Perry Ragain cemetery is a long abanded cemetery on private land about 3 miles south west of Pleasanton Ks.,IT WAS rediscovered in the 1980s by Ola Mae Earnest of the Linn County Historical society . I venture to guess no one has step foot in it since then ,although I plan to obtain permission to PHOTO GRAPH IT SOON . Ola Mae reported it was in very bad disarray and few stones visible in 1980 . I will make the name change on Your Great aunt , and if You like I can try to locate the Obituary if one exists . I should also mention
it sits on the edge of Mine Creek Battlefield and is not visible from the road as far as I can tell . Happy to do all I can to find out more . Jarrott Cox

Bill Vanderpool
RE: Abraham Vanderpool
Probably not directly related. 99% of the Vanderpool's in Wisconson migrated from New York and my side of the Vanderpool's left New York in the late 1600's and migrated south into the Carolinas then west into Missouri and from there to the west coast. If you traced his family back far enough we would find a common ancestry living in the New Colonies.

I entered the memorials in Vernon Center from a database on that cemetery, please feel free to ask for transfer of anyone that you want.

Abraham Vanderpool
Not sure which Abraham Vanderpool you are asking about, but Abraham, born 1709 in Virginia, was my 5th great grandfather. My full time hobby is researching his descendents. Are you related to him?

RE: John Sprague, Mt. Hope Cemetery
You are welcome. Sorry I didn't find Diantha. If she is John's wife then she might not have a stone left. Some of the stones right there are in bad shape. I didn't get through the whole cemetery though so perhaps she is still 'out there'... :>)
