RE: SAN ISIDRO requested edits
Thanks for your reply. After I had commented on some, I ignored others, but had already messaged you. I understand how they handle their names; you made a good call.

I guess I was just looking at the marker, and thinking of it that way.

Take care,
Margaret Taylor

Martha Mildred Tucker-Ellis-Ellison
"The cemetery has a "Martha Ellis" (NOT "Ellison) with the same exact dates. I went out to the cemetery & confirmed this; though please note that George/Martha Ellis' combined tombstone is also in the plot with Ellison tombstones. I am not sure if the engraver misspelled the last name or what. There currently is a memorial page for Martha Ellis for Find-A-Grave. I took pictures of this tombstone if you would like to add it to your page. Not sure what you want to do at this point. Please advise. Thanks!"

Great catch on this one! Martha first married George W Ellis who died and she then married Judge William Ellison. Both Ellis and Ellison had two marriages. Martha had children with both spouses. It appears (after getting your above note) that Martha must have been buried by her 1st spouse (dbl headstone) and her 2nd spouse was buried by his 1st spouse (not a dbl headstone but their headstones are near to each other - side by side I imagine).

I do not own either of the Martha memorials nor the multiple spouses memorials, so cannot make an update to bios with all the details I have directly but will try to work with those that created the memorials and try to get it down to one memorial. The Martha did die an Ellison (versus Ellis) but it appears she is buried with the dbl headstone of her George W Ellis (and since it was an ELLIS spouse who predeceased her and they probably just added her death date to that stone they made when he died). I guess whomever created the two memorials did not know that all 3 of these have more than one marriage and likely didn't know Martha's last name was really Ellison (vs Ellis) since 1859 before she died. Please add the headstone pic to Martha Mildred Tucker-Ellis-Ellison as that was her name when she died and she does have children with both Ellis and Ellison. I can see how the creators made an error not realizing that they have created two memorials for the same person due to the last names EILLIS an ELLISON (and likely didn't know that she had two marriages, but actually died an Ellison vs Ellis)

Jimmy Shelton headstone pic request...
Mick, thanks for below feedback on photo request on Jimmy Shelton's headstone:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=33918547

"I found Jimmy Shelton's marker from the funeral home and that is all. I DID take a picture of it. It is beside other Sheltons (Alberta & Dan) but apparently he was never given a tombstone?
The dates on the marker are 1936-1997. If you would like me to add the picture to his memorial page, please let me know. Thanks! mick"

YES that would be GREAT if you could put the funeral home marker photo on his memorial and close the request as completed. Those markers often get destroyed over time and having that photo is proof Jimmy was buried there between Alberta & Dan but headstone never got placed.

Many thanks!
