There are more than 1 Samuel Tinsley. I do believe that you have the wrong parents for Samuel Tinsley. I do believe that his parents were Jonathan and Mary "Polly" Tinsley. You might want to correct the parents.

Rubel Cummings
I have looked in my records but so far cannot find a connection for Rubel, so sad we can't put his headstone where it belongs. Thank you for caring.

Sarah Porter Winchell 112875999
I am wondering if Nathaniel Winchell and Sarah Porter also had a son, Nathaniel 1665-1741 born and died in Connecticut. He married Mercy Graves and they had a son, Nathaniel 1694-?. Would you happen to know? Thank you.

I don't have any memorials in those two cemeteries. I transferred Paulina and her husband, let me know if there are any other individuals you'd like.

Hi Patricia,
I made your edits, but wanted to let you know if you'd like a transfer of any of my Indiana memorials who are relatives just let me know. I'm not related to any of the Indiana memorials, I just happened to be out there for a while and did a few photos for a friend. While I was at it I did a bunch of other photos and created the memorials.

I wonder if you know if Mary A Pritchard is their
daughter? I also took pictures of her stone along with her husband S.J.Pritchard. I found a wedding lic that might be hers with maiden name Harris?

I took the picture of the above person and his wife Nancy Jane Harris in Westside cemetery in Moweaqua, Ill. Sorry that the picture didnt come out well and thats why I hate light grey stones.
Do you have any obits or pictures of these people?
how are they related?

RE: Lavina Adams @ Richardson
My mistake asking if you had the right cem. It's the first thing that came to mind when a "foreign" name showed up. But after I looked at the pics I took - realized there are names missing. And not just names & pics I already have - that I'm not able to match up. It prompted me to re-try something i did in past but then deleted. I added a "mem pg" to Richardson (& James Parker) by labeling it so it'll be 1st on the list of names:
"All Stones" (All as first name & Stones as middle name). Then attempted to add info abt pics of all stones were taken. And attached pics of empty bases & other possible remains of stones etc. Just in case someone looks at "All Internments" and sees the info and can help in their search. Thanks for the additional name. It's a shame that Burial Records are not provided to the people who oversee these sm cem's. By the way - did you know there is a lot of vandalism at this cem? In addition to obvious past damage - I saw evidence of "changes" at the cem from one visit to another. My theory is that if someone was ever caught - they should be told their punishment would be that there grave will not be marked and then no one will no where they are and will be forgotten.

Lavina Adams @ Richardson
See her mem pg at Richardson Eureka. I found a pic that may be of a remains of her stone or base. I also Linked Lavina & Alfred as parents of Charlotte on Charlotte's mem pg. Wayne mentioned abt your connection of Charlotte and Lavina - so I looked at Charlotte's mem pg and saw it had d/o "A & L" on her stone. That matched with Lavina & Lavina's husb Alfred. Since Charlotte's was my mem pg - I was able to link her parents.

RE: Brashear Cemetery
Thanks so much Patricia! I wish I could go today!!! Can't tho...had to drive to Ohio yesterday for work and am over the driving for the weekend lol....I do want to find the Lower Cummins Cemetery as well when I head down there...I found the Upper Cummins and there are a lot more Cummins/Cummings in the Lower Cummins so am anxious to find it! My 4th Great Grandmother was Delilah Cummins Denny daughter of Moses and Elizabeth....I used to have so much info on the family but lost my entire file in a computer crash in I've started over but haven't gotten much done at all but do know that the Cummins/Cummings family buried in these cemeteries are all related to me so quite exciting :)
I think the directions that you gave me are exactly like the ones I had with me :) I was on the road out of Derby when I got stopped and that's the same road that I came upon the Upper Cummings Cemetery! I'd love to see the pics when you get them :) You can email me directly if you like

RE: Brashear Cemetery
Good morning! I drove 3 1/2 hours down to Perry County and tried to get to the cemetery....the roads were flooded and I wasn't able to get to it!!!!! I was so close and then so disappointed! I turned around and then within two minutes saw a little road sign for the Upper Cummins Cemetery! I photographed it and have been adding those photos. This cemetery looks to have been restored and has a new fence up (you can still smell the wood)and these folks are likely related to the Brashears. Elizabeth Cummins Brashears is at the cemetery that I couldn't get to! Just thought I'd share my adventure with you :)

RE: Brashear Cemetery
Hi Patricia! Yes, I am distantly related to the Brashear Family through a cousin....Joseph's mother, Elizabeth Cummins Brashear. The Cummins is a line on my mother's side of the family. I would love to be able to help in any way with the restoration. I'm also on a page on FB for just that thing...cemetery restoration. I know someone who is amazing at this and I would love to get with her to see her opinion on how to go about doing it but first I want to visit the cemetery myself. If you have more info to share from the person that you spoke with please contact me through my and we can discuss this more...Thanks so so so much for the photos of the cemetery. I'm going to look it up now and see how far away from me it is...if I can make it there on a short afternoon trip :)

I think that would be great if the DAR wanted to leave a marker,as for relatives in that area i don't really know but i'm sure there must be some decentants in that area but i have not been in touch with any. My sister was the real researcher in the family but she died about three years ago.My sister and her husband was the one i went with to visit Abrahams grave, it took us most of the day to find it. We talked to a lot of people that day and finaly found a lady who had a cemetery book.I have been trying to talk another sister into going back over there with me to see if i could still find it's just hard to find a time when one of us isn't busy.Keep me posted about the marker I think that would be great and thanks again, Becky

Patricia, i got your messages about Abraham's stone was glad it was just a vine. It has been at least 10 years since i've been there. I would like to go back some day and see if things have changed. Are you related to Abraham? Thanks again. Becky

Hi, Patricia,
I did not clean the stones. Rather, I used kids sidewalk chalk to contrast the lettering from the base stone. It is zinc-stearate, [talc], and will not harm the stone. A couple of rains, and it is gone.
