W W Buck and Stella Harris Buck
Hello, I have recently acquired at auction a picture of a man taken at a Baltimore MD photo studio, with a inscription on the back that reads
"Yours Truly, W W Buck Rural Retreat, Wythe County Va." This photo was probably taken at the time of his medical school graduation in 1885.

If you are interested in this very free photo, please let me know. Kevin

I have a ton of unidentified photos. I'm assuming they are of the following families Utley/Kabrick/Lofgren/Steece. They are in a PDF format and I wanted to email them to you to see if you know any of them. May I have your email address?

Best regards,
Kayce

I added his rank, branch of service and conflect information to Eugene's memorial page.

The findagrave.com staff maintains his wife's memorial page.

To get the bogus information removed from her page, click on the the "Edit" tab and then click on the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link. Write your request in the text box and then click on the "Send This Message" button. The Find A Grave staff will take care of it.

That's the same "Edit request" process you would use to request any change to any field on any other memorial page.

Have another great day,
Ed Ross

I have found Mary Thelma Kabrich in Blacksburg VA census records and online genealogy records. She was born 17 Jan 1900 and died 1 Jan 1991 in Blacksburg. In 1940, she was age 40, single, living with her widowed father, and was a clerk at Virginia Tech. I have put in an obit request to see if I can find her burial place. I also have found a nice family picture, it has her father, his brother and sister, wife, and all three kids. Looks to be taken around 1905-10. Email me at galndixie@aol.com and I will send you a copy.

Thanks for the updates, Robin! If you happen to know the Find A Grave info for her parents, I'd love to have it.

You are very welcome. I was happy it was still legible. I think it is the oldest stone I have photographed so far!

Hi Robin,

Yes, William Kabrick is my 3rd great grand father. My grandfather recently sent me a packet of old photos, which sadly are mostly undefined relatives. However, this photo was one of the only labeled in the packet. I glad that you like the photo. I enjoy sharing family pictures/information.

Best regards,
Kayce

Here's the Find A Grave memorial for the Phlly John Nixon 11311197. That Find A Grave admin approved the same photo for both means they don't check too well.

The photo you added is not this John Nixon. The photo is of the Philadelphia John Nixon. Read the wikipedia listing. (a common error). Kindly delete the photo or request through edit@findagrave.com that it be deleted. thanks.

RE: Zabulun Pike
I agree with you that the spelling should be Zebulon. Unfortunately I do not maintain the page where the spelling is in error. I only link to it. You need to contact the maintainer Sue McDuffie.

Feel free to email me.... looks like I have some holes in my records as I don't see which daughter married a Pike. I have Hannah (bp1618-1677) who married Batholomew Heath and Mary (b.c1622-1703) who married Andrew Greeley. I also have a marriage date of Nov 22,1609 at Dennington, Co.Suffolk for a Joseph Moyce and Hannah Folcord. Daughter Hannah was baptized there.

Joseph Moyce
Hi Robin,

Thanks for the info.... the only problem I have with the birth date is that Joseph married in 1609, and would have been 12 when he married if he were born in 1597.

Joseph is an 11-gr grandfather, through his daughter Hannah. Do you have sources I can consult to update my records?

Thanks again!
