McComb Family History
I received your request for management of one of the McComb's on Find a Grave. I forget which great grandfather he is to me but it was his connection that allowed me to get into the Sons of the American Revolution. So we must be cousins!

Thanks for the "heads up" for burials there that were incorrect. They have been corrected.

RE: Rose Hills Memorial Park
I'm only aware of one St. Werburgh church and the one you show is the old one in the city center.

Thanks for the information about Word Press. I'll check it all out.

RE: Rose Hills Memorial Park
Impressive web site. I know St. Werburgh's church well. In fact I took my sweetheart to Derby last year and we took a look at it, along with many others. It's actually in the city center of Derby. Much of it was used as a Tea Shop a few years ago but it's closed up now. Quite sad!

I'd love to create a family web site like yours. Is it expensive, or is it set up like a blog? Any help with information in this area would be a big help.

RE: Rose Hills Memorial Park
When you approach the entrance into Rose Hills there are two lanes for traffic up to the front information booth. Take the left lane and pull up to the booth and ask for a map of the whole cemetery. You can get all the grave locations from their website by entering the name you are looking for. Go here and enter a name on the right hand side http://www.rosehills.com/dm20/en_US/main/rh/search/index.page?

I wish all cemetery web sites were as user friendly to find grave locations.

Regards

John

Rose Hills Memorial Park
Hello Tor.

As you know, there are not many grave requests at the Live Oak Memorial Park so I was wondering if you have considered Rose Hills, which is the largest cemetery in the world. There are always requests for that cemetery. It's a little further out for me but I do on occasion claim requests from there and it's a wonderful place to walk on a sunny day.

Best regards

John

Dear Tor,

Thank you so much for taking the time to try and find the gravesites for Nina & Jeppe. All the info I had said they were at Live Oak, so I guess I'm back to square one.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Wright

This has been transferred to you today. Since you are in his family, maybe you might have information. I tried to get him labeled as famous, but Find A Grave said no because their was no gravesite. Glad to find his family. Sherry McCormick

management transfer
Tor, Pleasant to meet you; your request for management of Josheph Allen, Prudence, Henry King, etc.... I wish to retain that management status. I'm a generation older than you; so, one day will come when I may re-consider. You can build a virtual tree and include these in that tree even now! Keep chasing your roots!

Tor,

I think this stone is all that was set. I could not see any dates or more name any further down. Just pulled grass away some to see if I could see anything any further down. There was nothing. I hope this will help you.
