RE: Declined edits
Thank you. I am one of those people who don't like to see tasks left incomplete. :-)

RE: Declined edits
I will try not to send you any more edits by not continuing with the Pleasant View Cemetery. If you added in any other cemetery, I may accidentally send you an update.

I thought that these would be easy for the owner to do because one push of a button would update 25 memorials. Rejecting them was more time consuming since you had to do each edit update.

So be it.

Have a good day,

Declined edits

You declined the edits I sent to you. All I was doing was moving the middle names that were in the first name fields to the middle name fields. This will allow folks to search on the middle name. If they are left in the first name field, searching on the middle name is almost impossible. Do you want me to resubmit the edits or forget fixing them?

Hello, Mr. Parry, I just wanted to alert you to a typo on this memorial page. Frank A Buxton's birthyear was 1841, not 1811-- there was an error there. - A. Howard

I literally JUST saw that you added a photo to a memorial in June!! I just wanted to say Thank You, and yes it was a typo in the name.

Jonathan Nye
Honorable George Nye (who is also buried in the same cemetery) is his brother. So this could be why he is buried so far from where he died.

Thanks for the transfers, hon. I am not related to them; I just tend to post things to Find A Grave pages when I run across them, esp. if I think this info would be hard to find for the descendants. I am searching for my own Thomas Baker, and I know how hard it can be to find clues! If you would like them back, LMK.

I have removed my memorial. But not quite understanding why you believe your memorial 2014 supersedes my memorial 2012. You could have just added your photo to the existing memorial-info was the same

Martin & Davis Family
Hi Jack. Thank you so much for attempting to find Eleazer Martin and his wife and daughter Jane Davis in Mountain View. I will do some further checking on their burials and let you know if something more definite comes up. I know Eleazer, his wife, and their 4 children all died in Lowell and at least two of the children are definitely buried in Mountain View -- it stood to reason that all were there. Thanks again for trying.

Just a quick FYI
What is the new Edit tab on my contributor page?
We currently are working to update our "Suggest A Correction/Submit an Edit" system. At this time, Find A Grave contributors may submit updates to the Name, Birth and Death Dates and Locations, and Plot fields via a new Edit System. When they submit edits to any of those fields, the managing contributor will no longer receive an email notification. These edits are now waiting for the managing contributor's review on their Contributor Page.
To review edits to these fields that have been submitted for memorials you manage, go to your 'Contributor Tools' and click on the 'Edits' tab.
The edits awaiting your approval will be listed with a link to the memorial page, the public name of the contributor who submitted the edit and the date it was submitted, and the information currently in the field and the suggested updated information for the field. There is then the option to Accept, Decline, or Ignore the submitted edit. If you Accept the edit, the changes will automatically be made for you and the person who submitted the update will receive an email confirming that the edits were made. If you Decline the edit, you will need to select a reason why you are declining it, and the changes will not be made the person who submitted the update will receive an email with the reason why you declined it. If you Ignore the edit, it will stay in your queue for your later review.
In the near future, we hope to add the ability to submit relationship links via this system. We will also have a time limit on the processing of edits, so that the memorials of contributors who are no longer active on Find A Grave may still be updated. As part of the time-limit feature, contributors who have edits in their queue for a certain number of days will receive an email notification about the pending edits waiting review.
The new system should save contributors a lot time in making edits to their memorials, as the managing contributor will no longer have to search for the memorial page, open the edit feature, search for city locations, etc. It will automatically go through with the contributor's approval.

Very glad to hear that Katrina helped you out. I looked at your two accounts this morning and they were still not merged, so they must have done it this afternoon.Find a Grave is getting better at handling things all the time. Now, things will be much easier for you. Fantastic!
