Find A Grave Memorial# 115877887

Nancy was stillborn so birth & death date are the same. Her mother was Thelma Mae McKee (also my mother) and her father was Herbert Closser.

Could you please transfer her to me?

Thank you so much.

Elzina Closser
I have found more info about her. I believe she is Eliza Alzina (Croan) Closser
b. Jul 1838
d. 16 Feb 1913

I don't know if this will help find her or not. I can't believe you went to the cemetery so many times. Perhaps you found her and didn't know...maybe under Eliza Closser or Eliza A Closser. I am not sure. There were so many spellings of Alzina/Elzina and possibly people mixed it up with Eliza. I hope the above is correct.

Thanks for all you have done to try to find her.

RE: Thank you for adding the following stone pictures
The Sexton called me last night. He talked to one of the old timers that had been at St. Josephs for 40 years. He remembers the little girls (Rosemary and Deloris). He said they both were buried in St. Josephs, buried in different locations, however both had unmarked graves. No stones. He also said Albert was not buried in the cemetery. The current Sexton said the old timer he talked to had all the paperwork at home with him and was able to look up your kinfolk.

RE: Jacob Blubaugh
Church found a Jacob Bubaugh (same burial date) in the burial book. No details other than burial date.

Carol (the church lady) was going to stop by the cemetery on her way home and look at that grave site. (if it didn't get too dark before she got out)

So, when the church record was transposed to Find A Grave, the "L" was added or there WAS a marker and the church made a spelling error in the "book". (not uncommon)

The cemetery was "inventoried "by hand" in 1996 by a friend of mine. He later went over the burial books to add names without markers.
He posted the list on genweb and it was "pirated" by my predecessor, with all errors intact.

Neither spelling is listed in my print outs.

I can find an Edmond (Indiana)& Laura (Washington) Blubaugh in the 1920 census. Ages 29 & 24 and living in Coeur d' Alene.

My gut feeling is that there isn't a marker present at this time.

Jacob Blubaugh
I have him on the list of memorials I "inherited", but he is not listed by the church in the burial or lot records.
He WAS listed in the 1996 "inventory" that was done by Jim Makovec. That would "infer" there was a marker for him at that time, since those names were either taken off markers or from the church records.

IF you could provide any additional details, it might help me find WHERE HE IS.
IF a baby for instance, there were certain areas where they buried babies/very young children in that era.
I seriously doubt that there is a current marker for him, since I have "shot" the entire cemetery.
I would like to find a plot location at least and then I can check again when I go over next Spring.
Any details such as age etc. would be helpful.
I have photographed the burial books, but there's a lot of plots and often the penmanship is quite poor. Darn fountain pens! IF I can narrow it down some, maybe??????

Hi Sue, We are doing pretty well. I got my shots in both knees yesterday for arthritis so I will be walking better for a while! Hubby has cancer but we are dealing with it, with God's help. It sure has been cold and rainy here and I think we are supposed to get some snow soon. I hate winter!! Take care...

RE: Alvin Jackson
Hi Sue,

Transfer requests are no problem at all, sometimes it takes me a little while to get to them. We are doing okay, we just got home from church and then we almost always have to go to Walmart and get some things. So by the time I get everything put away, it's usually about 2:00. I hope you and your family are doing well, also. Keep those transfer requests coming in and I'll do them as soon as I can, I always enjoy getting transfer requests. Take care!

George Jackson
I completed your photo request for George Jackson. He is buried in a family plot that includes Dora Jackson (wife), Carrie Jackson (wife); James Jackson (grandson)and Elizabeth Rheinlander, who appears to be a relative of his son Dallas' (not in this plot) wife Viola Rheinlander (also not in this plot). There were no memorials for Carrie, Dora or James, so I created them and will transfer them to you shortly. There was a memorial for Elizabeth and I uploaded a photo, but I will not transfer that one to you unless you want it.

Thank you, Sue. But it's okay because we still have so very much to be thankful for, and it will work out, I have faith that it will. Have a wonderful day!

RE: Alvin Jackson
Hi Sue,

You're very welcome, I'm always glad to help when I can. Just let me know whenever you get through your list and what transfers you want. I'm doing pretty much okay, just getting old, it seems like I'm starting to fall apart. My husband has cancer from Agent Orange in Vietnam and I worry a lot about him. He had double kidney cancer and prostate cancer. They have removed half of his right kidney and all of his left kidney, still waiting to see if he will need dialysis. He also has prostate cancer. So he and I just take care of each other the best that we can. I hope that you and your family are doing well. Take care and I'll talk to you again soon!

Your friend,
