RE: William F. Whittington
I thought the same thing. No telling what he went through to get to that point where he felt he had no other choice. Sad.

I have kept this memorial, even with the circumstances of his death, he should be remembered. I only hope he has found peace now.

RE: George W. Hardy - #144052985
Um, did you notice that there are 2 versions/memorials @ CH of Rosa Hardy? This is a duplicate situation that needs looking into...

George Hardy was removed from a grave in Davidsonville, Md. and placed into one in Cedar Hill, in Suitland (the family plot) some 2 weeks before Robert M. Hardy, Jr. was buried in the same plot but several feet over...I was able to obtain this information by doing some digging but at no time did I think there were duplicates. The old grave can be left as is with a caveat that the deceased (George) now rests in Suitland, Md. with other family members...

Hi Cynthia,
What a great story! Good research on your part in finding he had two wives in different cities. I transferred Charles to you so that you can add to his memorial. I think he should be in your care! Thanks so much for sharing his interesting story! Dee

Lady Nic
Cynthia, yes I'm referring to the family photos. I know Gwendolyn is still very much alive, but she is with her parents and that will work for her father's photo and I don't think she will mind at all. Thanks!

RE: Alice Virginia (Arnold) Nichols
Hello Cynthia,
I am looking for info on Arnold family members, especially Madora W. (Arnold) Kirby of Anne Arundel Co & Baltimore City.

Her brother Thomas Hamilton Arnold was married to 2 Warings.

Do you know the Waring sister's Quilt?

RE: Richard Bowie
I'll go ahead and post the obit for now without a cite - I'm afraid I'll lose it otherwise. If you happen to find the source, let me know. Thanks again!

Alice Virginia (Arnold) Nichols

Are you related to Alice thru the Waring family? My ancestor would have been Alice's aunt, Madora W. (Arnold) Kirby # 19114652, she is also buried in Loudon Park Cemetery.

Alice Peace.

I added the link to her mother. Thank you for the great picture.

Slidelia Perry

If you wish to maintain the memorial for Slidelia, let me know. I merely entered her name from the church record. She is not connected to my family that I am aware of.

RE: Scharf - Glen Haven in Glen Burnie
Your welcome. I thought I would not find it because I was coming to the end of the section and of course as usual lol it was near the end of the section. I think for now on I will start from the back and walk towards the front. I was so happy when I found it. I was starting to think there would be none there.

Sat of the Sea Cemetery, Marblehead, MA
Hi Cynthia,

I have added all of the information you requested of me to add to the following memorials:

Mary Ellen Giles Atkins # 59527474
Ellen Shehay Hammond # 59527317

I am going to look around right now to see if I can find any more info on these individuals. I will try to verify that John Shehay (Findagrave #59568876) is Ellen's father if I can. I have to do a little quick research now on these folks. If you'd like to manage their memorials please let me know. It's really no problem. Or you can request transfers by going thru the edit function on one of them and letting me know which folks you'd like to manage.

Take care and thanks for the info,

John Glassford
Andover, Mass.
