J Samuel Wilkinson
J Samuel Wilkinsin is my husband's GG grandfather. Keep in touch.

Tew Family
Is Alexander Tew, Find A Grave# 118109742, related to you? He is a descendant of my husband, through his mother, Martha Jane Wilkinson Tew. Thank you for all you do to help keep the site free.

RE: Thomas Henry Chandler, Sr.
I have Richard Carter Chandler 1772-1859 born Va, died georgia. His wife Charity Parks 1776-1857. His father Richard Chandler 1751-1782. His wife Elizabeth Carter 1743-1828. William Chandler 1724-1795. Wife is Delila Cox 1726-1787. This is what I have hope it helps. Have to ever gone to to chandlerfamilyassociation.org
I am a member there and just found out they have several groups by DNA very interesting site. I'm having
my brothers DNA to find out which chandler trail I'm in. Sounds confusing but if you go to the above you will better understand. Right now I'm in group 3 so I have started my family tree over. Dick Chandler from the above web site placed me in group 3 based on the info I gave him. I had traced back to the orginal or first Chandler that came here in the 16th century. So I will see after my brother does the DNA. Let me know if you need any more help. I go farther back then the names I gave you.

RE: Jerusha White Chandler(1799-10/26/1894
Hi Eli. Ambrose and Jerusha White Chandler are my direct ancestors. Actually, they appear on my family tree twice as two of their grandsons are my direct ancestors. I'm hoping to go to Georgia and look into their burials one of these days if we ever get out from under all the snow and ice. I'm wondering if looking through some old church records where they were members or newspaper articles from the Haralson County newspapers from that time might tell us where they are buried. My mother is friends with the Hightowers, and we are going to go to them and find out where old burial records for the county might be. It might be that there are no records, but I'm hoping to find something at least on Jerusha's burial. I'd love to figure out where they're buried!

William Harvey, Sr.
Trying to find SOURCE/PROOF of what is mentioned on here for his line. Can anyone help? I descend from his daughter, Mary Polly Jane, who married Thomas Patterson in Madison County, KY. These are my 4th great grandparents, who went to MO with the Harveys and are buried there. -- Take care, Ellen

Harvey lineage
I believe both my mother's Harvey grandparents trace back to Norris. This is a new line for me. I only found my mother's father within the last two years. I'd love any information you can provide.

Many thanks,
Danelia

RE: Many things in common
I first saw the Generals in gray cemetery book and noticed it left out many state Generals and didn't mention the statesmen and colonels. So I am hoping one day to have a book that includes all of them. I have walked a good many cemeteries. Always great to have things in common with people.

Hi Eli,
Hope you don't mind me transferring George, too. I like to keep spouses together!
You probably think I'm awful since I never show up when you're out here, but I do hope it works out sometime. I admire all the effort you're putting into getting these cemeteries restored and think it's wonderful. It seems I've become a basket case this past year, but hope to get it together eventually.
What cems did you go to with Neil? Did he take you to Old Fort Henry? That has become a heartache for me since the restoration has taken over 4 years now. I started probing and digging back in 2010, but it's out of my hands now.
Be glad you weren't out here these past couple weeks. Heat & humidity have been awful!

I am a descendent of Norris Harvey, who is the son of William and Polly Jane {Robertson} Harvey. It seems as though Norris stayed in Kentucky, while the rest of the family went to Kentucky?? As far as Norris's parents, and beyond that, I am trying to get any information that I can. I have been on Ancestry for over 15 years, but I saw your stuff and thought I would ask.

Thank you so much for posting Foster Burnam's memorial (and other Burnam's)! I was wondering if it would be okay to use the photographs of his headstone on my family tree?

Hello Eli,
Dennis just confirmed what I posted on his home page - Thomas Parks b. 1751 Revolutionary Patriot #Ancestor #A087228 IS THOMAS III AND NOT IV.
There is NO Thomas IV.. not in this lineage. He is the son of Thomas Jr. 1726 and Priscilla Blanton ~ Thomas Jr. is the son of Thomas Parks Sr. 1670 and Sarah Miller ~ Thomas Sr. is the son of John PARKE - mother is unknown.

Yes, Uriah Parks and Charity Parks Chandler were brother and sister. Uriah is my 4th great grandfather - Charity is my 4th great grand aunt, so we are cousins! "Hi long time no see" LOL!

Our lineage is documented extensively and with DNA confirmation. UNFORTUNATLY however, too many have created their own trees on this site blindly copying what they find on the internet/Ancestry etc. without researching. They are connecting people without actually documenting what is fact - creating or perpetuating misinformation. I have been a court certified legal researcher and senior paralegal for 30+ years and this quite frankly drives me crazy!!

Would love to see your Bible Record or what else you may have. I have a ton of records I can provide if you would like to see them.

Dear Mr. Eli Chandler,

Thank you for all your doing, have done, and shall do . It is well.

In documentation it is the mainly the scribe which is mostly responsible for errors , as we think they are. Look at the Coptics as they are the only ones with actual dictation from Day ONE, of my Lord Jesus Christ of Nazzerth and his earthly family members as they traveled with him , Joseph, young Mary (mom), his step brothers two, and step sister one, and friends when they fled to what is Ethiopia now. On the maps then it ( Ethiopia ) is shown as vast lands in the continent. By the way the first usage of POPE is Coptic. I was at the Doctoral acceptance of his Holyness, last Pope, with some of my family.

Please add me as your friend. On Find A Grave too.

Regards,

Jonathan Robert DeMallie
