Your daughter's marker.
The memorial I set up has been removed. I visited both cemeteries that day to take pictures and mistakenly added your daughter's memorial to Buffalo Baptist Church. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you for responding to my post. I have now transferred your other requests to you. I, too, because of findagrave have been united with many relatives that I didn't know existed. Some are very good friends now & we have visited in person. Others I have not yet met and converse through email and plan to meet in the future. That is part of the rewarding part of findagrave, as well as, uniting others through memorials that I have entered. Many of my contacts have come because of a memorial that someone else entered and most of my more distant relatives, I have located through the efforts of others. I am so grateful for those who enter memorials without having a clue as to who they are. There are many people in findagrave who only transfer within the four-generation guidelines of findagrave. If you are interested in contacting someone who may be related to or may have more information on a particular memorial, and the owner will not tgransfer to you, there are a couple of things you can do. One is to request the owner add a note to the bio section "Anyone wishing to share information on this person, please contact xxxxxx xxxxx at xxxxxx.com where you can give your name & email address. If the owner is unwilling or fails to respond to your request, then you can leave flowers and a note containing your personal contact information. The bio section is preferable because it is more easily seen.

Good luck in your research and if you ever need help with anything, feel free to contact me. Most of the things about findagrave, I have learned the hard way and I still use the FAQs when I'm in doubt.

The duplicate memorials you & I both entered in East Lake were not days apart; they were a year apart, with mine having been entered first. As to the transfers, I normally do not transfer just because someone says they are a relative. The ones I did transfer to you were because you stated they were grandparents, I believe. In my family tree, I have over 25,000 names so far that I am related to, but most are not closely related, ie. 3rd cousin 3x removed. I know that findagrave only requires transfers within 4 generations, but generally, I will transfer aunts, uncles, etc. if the exact relationship is stated. Personally, I do not ask for transfers unless I am closely related AND I have a lot of information to add or if the owner of the memorial is unwilling or unable to make changes - ie. inactive contributor, deceased, etc. I am more than willing to delete any duplicate memorials that I have entered erroneously. In this case, if you will send a request transfer with your relationship stated (other than just a relative), I will transfer my memorials to you, then you can delete the ones you entered incorrectly. I noticed that you are new to findagrave. Please be sure to read the FAQs, which can be found by clicking on contributor tools. I hope you find findagrave as enjoyable and rewarding as I do. Thanks.
