RE: Nyla Rae Anderson
Gayla,

I met your mom and dad at Cleo's 2-3 years ago, and I went to see Nyla at St. Joseph's just before she passed. We spoke by phone a few times, and I know the dialysis wore her out. I'm in touch with Nona frequently.

I recently worked on a cemetry project where volunteers catalogued all the headstones by taking photos of them. From those photos, information on the headstones and cemetery records, memorials were built. Permission is not asked to build a memorial. One of the cemeteries went from 3,400 summer before last, to nearly 28,000 memorials last summer.

The idea is to just get them documented. Hopefully, someone will come along, claim them and add the vital information so family and friends know where they are and link to other family members. State and SS death records are public records easily found.

Take a look at the memorial # 24433982 for Thomas Foy Jones, your 2nd gr-grandfather. All 11 of his chidren are linked as well as his wife and his parents. If you click on any of the individuals, it takes you to their memorial and has a photo of their headstone. His father, Thomas Wilkins Jones, had 20 kids by 2 wives. Sixteen are linked and I'm still looking for the other 4.

I'll ask Nona if she knows where Daniel is buried. I didn't see anything for him on Find A Grave. If it's ok with you, I'll build a memorial and link him to Nyla, or if you'd like to do it, that's fine too, just let me know.

Please keep in touch.

Sue

RE: Nyla Rae Anderson
Hello Gayla,

I didn't mean to offend anyone. Nyla was my cousin. My grandfather and your gr-grandfather were brothers.

I know Nyla worked on genealogy as I do. I've worked on the family tree for many years. The goal on Find A Grave is to link the families to each other. I can't put your Dad, Gary, in as he's still living. I wanted to add Raymond, so he'd be linked to Nyla and his father. I already had her vital info, and some I got from her obituary. Do you want me to unlink her from her first husband and her son? I don't know what else is in error but I will correct it if you'll let me know what's incorrect.

Sue
