RE: McIntyre Settlement
I have added the information you supplied as biographical information with Juliette's gravestone record. You may want to check it to be sure it is correct. I have listed you as the source.

Another comment about the McIntyre Settlement Cemetery - it was first established as a churchyard so there is a stretch of trees and brush between Strong Road and where the gravestones start in the area where the church formerly stood.

RE: McIntyre Settlement
Dear L. Roach,

The photographs I posted of the McAdams gravestones were taken on 18 April 2008. From the notes I made at the time, the McAdams monument is located near the southwest corner of the cemetery. I would suggest that you visit early in the spring before there is much plant growth. I believe the area is mostly clear of trees and shrubs now, but the myrtle and herbaceous plants do make it hard to find the gravestones later in the season.

My husband has spent many hours working at cleaning up this cemetery. When we first started working there it was covered with 20 foot sumac trees so progress is being made. Since you live in the Finger Lakes area perhaps you would be willing to put in some time there helping to care for it? Ultimately the Town of Hector is responsible for care of this cemetery as it was once incorporated, but until they take an active role its condition is left to those who care about it.

Since I am the manager of the record for Juliaett McAdams perhaps you would like to send me more information so that I can link her record to her husband and children?

Sincerely, O. Culver
