Phebe Ann Blythe Moore
I did go ahead and transfer the management of Phebe to you despite the fact that you did not specify the exact relationship you had to her but just said you were a direct descendant . Mandatory transfer is limited to spouse , child , parent , grandparent , great grandparent relationships according to policy . Phebe Moore was no kin of mine . My purpose in creating the page was to honor her and make it possible for family to have access to information on her tombstone and perhaps through a photo the viewer would see a tombstone that ordinarily he or she would never see . Good luck on your family research .

RE: Family Photos
I connected George and Willie. I thought that I had already done that. Willie and George were my 2nd great grandparents. Their daughter, Clytee Bowlin Stabler was my great grandmother. Your great grandmother was a half sister from William's first marriage, correct? I don't know much about the Blythe's. My grandfather's sister had a lot of information, but sadly, she passed before I could talk with her about them.

RE: Benton Richard Talley duplicate
I did try to contact Thomas Cooke but he chose not to respond. The problem is that he has Uncle Ben Talley attached to the wrong wife. Uncle Ben married Laura Maggie (Knox) Hayes, a widow, #95068510, who went by the nickname "Gussie" which she chose because she thought so much of her grandfather, Augustus (Gus) Beck.

Mr. Cook has Uncle Ben married to Gussie Bowen Talley, #53602810. I haven't been able to determine who she was or where he found this information; however, Gussie Bowen was not our great-aunt. This is why I have not taken down #53589699.

RE: Seeking recommendation on marker cleaning techniques
Good to hear from you. We use cornstarch to bring out the lettering in those hard to read stones. We put the cornstarch in one of my husbands old white socks (actually we buy packages of new socks since we go thru alot!). Then we either rub the sock on the letters or pat it gently, then rub back over the cornstarch to smooth it & neaten it up. This brings out the letters in 95% of the stones that are so hard to read. Then we have a 3" paintbrush (soft bristles only) and use that to brush off as much of the cornstarch as possible after we've taken the photo.

This past year we also have been trying to use sun reflection to better see the stones and that works remarkably well, too. We use those round sun relectors that you buy for your car windshields. Those are hard to manage tho on a windy day!

I have looked high & low on the internet for negativity on the cornstarch & have not really found anything that speaks against it for use on tombstones. Most of the sites #1 recommendation is "use nothing at all" on the stones. And I hear that & agree but sometimes .....

Hi, I have transferred him to you, if there are others please let me know
My ex-husband was Kiser so I am not directly related to any of them but in Ancestry you find one name and it leads you to another name and you just keep going
