RE: Thanks William
If she is still listed as Summers on this website and you would like me to change it, send me an EDIT request from her memorial.

RE: thanks for adding my great grandparents
If her name is misspelled here, please send an EDIT/"Suggest any other correction or addition" with the correct spelling and remind me of your relationship.

I think people memorialized here should be listed on their actual names.

(And, of course, if you have other information to add, I'd be pleased to do that too.)

I realize you probably prefer that I manage it --
But if you wish to add or update anything, let me know. ;-)edie

RE: thank you for the photos
Hi !

You are very welcome . It really was a pretty cemetery. HUGE though. Must have a good 8 city blocks of grave areas, plus a few vaults and crypts. That is why there are many names that still need photos at that particular cemetery. I was able to find your names fairly easy because you wrote the section of the cemetery the graves were located. I did not want to ask at the office because other contributers have said they cannot photograph a grave unless they have permission.

The graves are near a fenced yard and the neighborhood is quiet and high class. It was peaceful to walk thru the area.

Hi Krisy...I read your message regarding Dr. Emerson Wirtz. It is good to hear he was there for you, your family, friends and neighbors. Dr. Wirtz wife, Amy Eleanor Leedham, is a direct cousin of my wife Susan. Our best wishes to you and your family and welcome to Find A Grave. Gary

Added the three Lawson's you asked for. Also added a photo for Naomi and Frances because they were close to the others.

Kristy: Who's headstone was it? I am a volunteer on findagrave but my family is from Gilmer, Union and Fannin counties. I could be both in this situation. Let me know.

Find A Grave
On one of your Alta Vista requests, the person searching replied the cemetery office had no record of the person being buried there. There is a section called F.B. or Free Ground. If the person was buried there, the records were not kept by the cemetery; therefore there would be no record of it in the office. There are.however, many markers in that sections. I photographed, I think, all of them so there should be a record in the cemetery office. Possible I missed one or he did not have a marker. NM
